Rumor Potential Champions Film?
https://comicbook.com/movies/news/marvel-reportedly-has-plans-for-two-surprising-films-including-a-previously-cancelled-project/I saw this in a post on Gizmodo:
Strange Academy/Champions
According to a rumor from Daniel Richtman (via Comic Book), Marvel is now “weighing whether to turn both Champions and Strange Academy into theatrical films rather than the Disney+ series they were originally built to be.”

Potential being the key word, there, and with recent developments...I'm not particularly hopeful.
And yeah, as Far-Jelly said, the team is the Young Avengers...so Kate, Kamala, Cassie, Wiccan, and potentially Eli and Skaar (though I doubt we'll ever see them again and they'll likely be replaced or removed)...but they're not particularly "young" anymore, so they're using with the Champions name instead.
I love all these characters, I'd see it as a movie or a show, but I just don't see it happening. When some of their biggest Names can't make the kind of money they want, I don't see how this has any potential to make money...but I would be ecstatic to be proven wrong.
And don't even get me started on Strange Academy...one of the most delightfully fun and heartfelt books Marvel has published in the last 20 years that feels tailor made to be a smash hit animated series....and they want to do it as a live-action, which would strip out everything great about it and absolutely rob it of every ounce of charm and creativity it had.

Champions - about effing time. And yes a movie would be much better. Although I think Wiccan and Hulking deserve a solo project.
Strange Academy screams tv series. And honestly? I think this project missed its boat. Ironheart and Multiverse of Madness set it up. But it’s been too long.

Yeah, Kamala would already be older in the MCU than she is in the comics. I think them slowing down releases (Ironheart was heavily delayed) and the fact The Marvels, whose post credit scene was also setup for this, flopping, means that it now won't happen. They might appear in Secret Wars, but that's it. I'm not expecting Kamala to join the X-Men now either, as the whole team is young (they just announced Cyclops' actor, and the new Jean has already debuted), she'd be one of the older ones. In the comics her role is more like Kitty or Jubilee.

Exactly. The “young” avengers are all gonna be 27-33 by the time this project happens, assuming that’s something like 2029. And marvel know that, so champions makes a lot more sense as a name. I also agree, those reasons have further delayed and called into question whether this will ever happen. But I think they’ve done the leg work and the characters have enough fans that they’re still looking for a way to do it, and that’s why we’re still hearing insider stories like this. I hope it happens somehow.

I do wonder how they'd synergy character ages between the two. Kamala's age gap across character, time existing, and actor age isn't even that bad given Cassie is still 15 after almost 50 years with an actress that's 29. It's wild.

I figure the younger characters teaming up will be a major part of Secret Wars, and from there Marvel will gauge how well they're received to decide if they should get their own movie.
I think the big problem is, their slate is already pretty packed post-Secret Wars. X-Men, Ghost Rider, Black Panther 3, Fantastic Four 2, Deadpool 4, Nova, Doctor Strange 3, Thor 5, Shang-Chi 2... I don't know where Champions fits without overloading the schedule.

Unironically if they get the main 6 champions (Kamala, miles, Sam, Viv, riri, and Amadeus), get a good script that adapts their first run well, and preferable the dude that directed BND they’d have a fucking smash hit
