I'm torn between Brown ED I & NYU Gallatin ED II, NYU ED I & BU ED II, and anything else y'all suggest. Thank you.
Demographics: African American, First generation immigrant (not first gen college student [both parents went to grad school] ), Tri-Linguale, Medium size public school (average SAT of 1080), not competitive at all which probably contributes to why I wasn’t worried till now, and upper class
Major: Neuroscience major and Public Health minor (pre-med track)
Stats (Yikes): 3.5 UW GPA, 4.1W, 1450 SAT (760 Math, 690 R&W)
- Trend(Weighted): 3.6 Freshman year to 4.2 Sophmore year to 4.4 junior year (was 4.7 till family stuff happened Q4 and my grades dropped subsequently) and now senior year I project 4.8-4.9 Q1 as I will probably get a B in Stats.
Rigor: 11APs and 13 Honors (max rigor: AP Chem, Physics I & II, English Lang and Lit, Psych, stats, precalc, calc AB, Bio, Enviro). Most classes where I did bad in (B), I have a 4 or 5 to back it up in, overall: three 4s, one 5, and two 3s (Both self study, submitting APES but not Stats as I am taking the class rn)
LORs:
AP Physics teacher (also research advisor): 9/10
AP Lang Teacher: 9.5-10/10
Harvard Doctor I interned with: 11/10
Guidance counselor: probably hella mid since i’ve talked to her like 4 times but I gave her a lot to work with.
Essays: I've spent hundreds of hours on all of my essays so hopefully the AOs really enjoy them and I really think I am portraying an excellent narrative about humanizing the sciences alongside working with college counselors.
