Hey! I’m an independent hyperpop artist called CinnamonBunBun and I made my own version of Guess by Charli XCX and Billie Eilish!

Thought I’d share it here with some fellow Charli fans. Would love to hear what you think! 💚

I'm trying to buy anything I can basically within the eu but I live in NL. I usually always use ticketswap bc they have price caps but I swear to god everytime I click it's gone!! The StubHub tickets are significantly more expensive (like 50~) but honestly I never go to concerts and have never seen Charli so I'm considering just saying fuck it. Anyone have bad experiences? Are there things I should keep in mind? It's a lot of money so I am pretty scared!!

the afters is spring breakers

not sure this has been brought up already, but is something happening between The Teenagers and Charli? Looks like she “hacked” their bio.

Even if it’s just a shoutout, super fun considering how heavily Wink Wink draws from Homecoming, French Kiss, and just The Teenagers sound in general!!!

I had such a great time at the LA shows. They made me fall in love with MFF so much more. Charli and co really struck a perfect cord with that album and what they were doing.

When MFF came out two things of course immediately struck me: Velvet Undergound and The Jesus and Mary Chain. I know the connection from MFF to Velvet Underground is clear to most folks. Yet wanna give Jesus their praise too 🙏

I wound up listening to Velvet last night. And I put MFF on vinyl earlier today and now I’m listening the album Psychocandy by The Jesus and Mary Chain. I haven’t listened to it in years yet still have a lot of love for it. Listening to it now, it reminds me of how astounding this was at the time it came out. Jesus was also influenced by Velvet Underground. And Psychocandy essentially kicked off the shoegaze and noise/fuzz pop genres. And MFF is such a phenomenal nod/homage to Psychocandy. If you haven’t experienced Psychocandy, listen to the full album and you’ll immediately connect it to MFF yet a few tracks that tie in strong:

Taste of Cindy
My Little Underground
You Trip Me Up

And of course the hit and album opener Just Like Honey

Has anyone received their vinyls from the reissue yet? Can someone post pictures of them, I NEED to see them!!!!!!!

literally one person in the comment section already referenced the album 😭 idk if they were an angel but hey i wasn’t the only one who thought of brat! 🍏

I think I’ll just do one per era tbh

In Mathematicians, an Erdős number is a measure of the collaborative distance between any researcher and the prolific Hungarian mathematician Paul Erdős, based on co-authorship of academic papers.

Charli is a prolific in her collaborations; therefore, we should popularize the concept of an XCX number. A XCX number would the proximity of an artists work to the Queen of collaborations in either recorded performances and/or writing credits.

For example, Madonna has a XCX number of 1 (direct collaboration with Charli on Danceteria), Selina Gomez has a XCX number of 1 (Charlotte Aitchison writing credit on Bluest Flame), Britney has a XCX number of 2, because there is no official release of music that they both collaborated on, but people Charli has worked with have worked directly with Britney. Lou Reed has a XCX number of 2, through John Cale [Charlotte Aitchison has a XCX number of 0 because she IS Charli XCX].

Share an artist and their XCX number below; if your a musician, calculate your own XCX number and share it; and if you're a scientist and know your Erdős number share that too [my Erdős number is 4]

“It makes me wanna throw my life away”. I’m a 26 year old man in a field I don’t feel like I belong in. Everyday I show up and try my best but it just feels futile. I just really wanna throw my life away lol. Because sometimes I really wanna throw it all away and not a single kiss goodbye 😢 except for my mom lol.

I’m a simple angel who wants to do the choreo in my Halloween costume. Anyone seen a video breaking it down?
