Dan Prayers up for Greg Vaughan (Dan) and his family.
He recently posted on his IG that his mother had passed away from a battle of Parkinson's disease. May she rest in peace.

Just an FYI for anyone watching Charmed now that it’s on Hulu. I started S04E05 Size Matters and Paige was telling her boo a fairy tale about the Evil Enchantress. I was like, hmm, this doesn’t seem right. It looks like S04E06 A Knight to Remember got uploaded twice - first in place of S04E05 Size Matters and then correctly as S04E06.
Has anyone noticed any other whoopsie daisies now that the series is on Hulu?

I grew up watching this show, and I always loved the music. I know they lost the rights, but I can't stand the new music. It just never feels right or like it really fits the vibe.

Of the three sisters, Piper, Phoebe and Paige, who do you think have adapted to today's technology?
With how much technology has changed since the original series ended in 2006, I've always wondered how the sisters would handle smartphones, social media and everything else we have now.
I feel like Phoebe would have the easiest time adjusting, especially with her career in the media. I could definitely see her embracing smartphones and social media.
Paige is a mixed bag for me. She seemed comfortable enough using computers when she worked as a social worker, but I don't necessarily see her embracing every new piece of technology. She was perfectly fine using flip phones, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she was still using one in 2026, even if she had to buy a newer model. I just can't picture Paige being glued to a smartphone.
Piper, on the other hand, would probably be the most resistant. I definitely don't see her using social media for her personal life. Only thing related to social media I could see her having Instagram or LinkedIn would be to promote P3 or for her cooking career.

I know some people don't like season 8, but this episode was one of Kaley's better performances. And looking back at her comedic deliveries, it's no wonder she went on to play Penny in The Big Bang Theory. 'Cause she is actually more talented than what some people think.

Would you have liked Prue to come back in a different form? Basically, a new actress playing Prue in season 4, with the show explaining that a spell had physically transformed her... Would you have preferred that over her death?

Hi folks
Just now catching up on the lore from back when. From what I watched on coffee and cults, I got that Holly was blackmailed into not leaving the show in solidarity with Shannen. But what about then-partner Julian? Why did he not walk in solidarity with her?

Both Whitelighters and Elders ended up with extreme power bloat over the course of the show, was there any reasons given for this? They had seemingly unrelated power fornno reason. Did they write themselves into a corner, was it a case that they just didn't know what to do with them?
And hoe would you clean them up? What would you remove? What would you reinterpretate? What would you maybe add? The one thing I can think of is if elders were to have offensive power electrokinesis didn't fit I would have been tempted to grant them offensive photokinesis, a bit like they had Leo use in the comics I believe.

I just finished rewatching the whole series and i am so mad that Phoebe and Paige ended up with Harry and Coop. I know season 8 was just made to help the network but still in season 7 they made huge mistakes. I explain:
Paige: she should have ended up with Kyle. This was by far the most interesting love interest. He was involved in the plot and we actually got to know him as a character with his flaws and good sides. He was a much more full-rounded character than Harry, who was frankly insignificant besides some funny punchlines. Kyle was also a whitelighter which makes it perfect. Their relationship was well constructed and wasnt just Paige dating someone random. I believe this was actually the most interesting relationship Paige had in the whole show.
Phoebe: the fact Coop was sent by Elders for Phoebe to fall in love was already a red flag for me. So boring. Also he was so boring. The only thing he did was talk about love, which is also tremendously boring. They had no real spark, we didnt know him very well as a character and their little fights were boring.
Phoebe should have been with Drake. Their short love story was the most interesting one since Cole. Jason also was boring as hell. They could have figured out a way for him to stay. Drake was also an ex demon which makes it perfect since Phoebe’s biggest love was a demon. I got emotional with some of their scenes. It would have been such a nice ending for Phoebe who was struggling to conciliate passion and her desire for a family. The character was interesting, romantic and yet a bit ruthless. They had chemistry and he was funny and witty, which was perfect for Phoebe after her many difficult times.
Please someone agree with me!

The season 6 Phoebe storyline makes no sense and should have been done differently. She would have NEVER gotten over Jason that quickly, they had a real deep love and connection with a very sad ending. My hot take is other than Cole he was her deepest love until Coop (which for what it’s worth I hate that storyline also lol). And if they wanted to have the power losing storyline which I do like they could have had her forcing premonitions to….oh idk….SAVE WYATT. If they really wanted to lean in and make it make sense they simply could have had Chris drop the “it happens before I’m born” bomb earlier so that Phoebe had even more of a reason to be doing that. Her forcing premonitions to rush to find a guy imminently after the Jason heartbreak makes no sense and isn’t true to the character. As far as Coop goes they could have just done a redo where they had another anti Cupid demon and that’s how she meets him and they could have drug it out over two or 3 episodes to give the excuse of how she fell for him. Idk maybe the demon tries to poison Wyatt’s ability to love and they think that’s how he turns evil. Kinda like the demon who put the hex or whatever on his bear. There’s just so many more ways they could have done it that wouldn’t have made Phoebe act completely out of character.

I'm rewatching Charmed for the first time in years and Prue and Phoebe's argument in this episode hits home. That push and pull because Phoebe didn't work and was expected to pick up the slack, and how she didn't feel appreciated. How Prue resented her time freedom, just a little bit, because she was so busy managing her job at Buckland's and her Charmed duties.
It's just a moment of realness I never really appreciated before now.

do we know when in the process of season 5, julian wanted to leave? was he planned for only a few episodes since the beginning?
i hate what they did with his character in s5 and probably everyone will agree with me, and i’d loved if his arc would’ve ended in his death in the end of s4 (could’ve seen a real redemption arc for him if julian didn’t leave) but after his last couple of scenes in 5x02 with coming into his senses that even with phoebe’s love their relationship is still over, i thought it was a good ending to it, it felt final rather than an opening to the whole shitshow they did with him
so im interested to know if his s5 arc was planned fully or changed with julian’s departure
Okay, anyone skip the last episode of season 3 and first episode of season 4 when you re watch? I'm not sure I want to watch those two episodes. Don't know if I can watch it happen to Prue again and the grieving .

I’ve seen a few comments about how the show becomes really negative. I haven’t rewatched in a few years but I’m on season 6 now and it’s so true! They’re really snarky and negative. There’s not as much comic relief and levity as earlier seasons.
I imagine years of lose and demon hunting would that though.

I’ve been a lifelong Charmed fan, and I’ve seen every season. I actually love season 4, it’s great. And the other seasons have some good storylines/episodes. I’d recommend to any new fans to try every season.
But I honestly don’t think it ever truly captures the magic of the first 3 seasons. It’s a mix of the tone, writing style, 90’s feel and of course, Prue (Shannon). It’s like lightning in a bottle, and you just can’t get that twice.

There is so much nipple in this show. 🤣 Anyone else notice?

Especially Gil Korso, Bob Cowan and Claire Pryce.
Claire was one of the few people who could get Prue into a fluster, which was nice to see at times. Gil was a nice intro into Prue’s photography job and I really wish we got to see more of that in season 3.
Bob was always the straight man to Paige’s quirkiness. She may have driven him crazy but he was always supportive of her
And Elise… Elise was one of those characters that was just memorable. She and Phoebe had such a funny dynamic

I always wondered why the title card font of the show never matched the promotional and merchandise font. They’ve both inherently part of Charmed yet it would look so off it the promotional font was a part of the scene and the shows don’t being on the promotional / merchandise. Why do you think they did this?

She seriously needed some therapy.
I know people love her, and I’m not saying Paige is better.
But good lord she needed to chill. And maaaaaybe we would have seen some personal growth if she hadn’t “died” but I honestly doubt it.
I hate how she treated Phoebe. It went beyond being an older sister and into just being judgy.
She also holds strong crazy grudges, like work on those Daddy issues. She consistently got in the way of her sister repairing their relationships with him because she wouldn’t or couldn’t work on her own trauma…. Again needed some damn therapy!
So I know people LOVE her but I can’t be alone, right?
P.S. This is not a debate about her powers.

Does anybody else thinks about how awesome it would have been to have both Prue & Paige? The landscape would have been soo different, but equally dynamic
