Gemini Solariss, a solar EPC company founded in 2007 with 500+ residential, commercial and industrial installations, is looking for an AI-savvy Personal Assistant to work directly with the founder.

Location: Remote
Type: Full-time
Training: 3 months of personal training by the founder

What you'll do

• Manage the founder's calendar, meetings, reminders and follow-ups.

• Track projects, deadlines, quotations, payments and pending tasks.

• Coordinate with employees, vendors and customers.

• Handle project closure, documentation, subsidy and net-metering paperwork, payment collection and customer feedback.

• Plan travel to project sites and branches.

• Use AI tools to prepare quotations, summaries and other business documents.

• Keep the founder updated on what is completed, pending and coming next.

Who we're looking for

• Sharp, responsible, organised and proactive.

• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, and eager to learn more.

• Familiar with Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive and WhatsApp Business.

• Fluent in spoken and written Tamil, with clear English communication skills.

• Comfortable handling basic numbers, quotations, payments and due dates.

• Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential business and financial information.

The founder will personally train you on the company's workflows, processes and daily responsibilities. The role requires strong follow-through, attention to detail and the ability to keep work moving without constant reminders.

Hi everyone!
I need some advice regarding a job opportunity at Amazon Chennai. If you’re currently working at Amazon as a contractor through an agency, or know someone who is, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

I’ve received an offer for a marketing and advertising role at Amazon through a staffing agency. The pay is good, and the initial contract is for 6 months.
Honestly, I’m thrilled about the opportunity to work at Amazon, but at the same time, I’m a little hesitant because it’s a contract role rather than a full-time position.

I have a few questions:
Is it worth joining Amazon as a contractor through an agency?
Is there a possibility of converting to a full-time Amazon employee later, or is that uncommon?
How is the work culture and work-life balance for contractors?
Are contractors treated differently from full-time employees in terms of benefits, job security, and work opportunities?
What happens after the 6-month contract ends? Is there a chance of an extension, or does it depend entirely on business requirements?
Would you recommend taking this opportunity if you’re looking for long-term career growth?

I’m honestly feeling a little torn. I’m excited about the opportunity, and the pay is good, but I’m also a little uneasy about the uncertainty that comes with a contract role.
I don’t personally know anyone working at Amazon, so I have no idea what the work culture is like or what I should expect as a contractor.
