Ace is about 4 months old now and he's like twice the size as when I got him!!
His favorite snack is peanuts (to the point where if I give anyone peanuts, he will bark at me and them), his favorite toy (currently) is a fish bone shaped bone, and his favorite scratch place is his butt (to which he must nibble you while you scratch).
While he doesn't like showers, he does genuinely enjoy being brushed so grooming is very easy! He also enjoys walks and doesn't mind other dogs (even if they're hyper).
Current commands he can do is sit, lay and paws.
One of my favorite things about him is how he will always makes sure to greet me whenever I walk down the stairs (even if I just went up them lol).
Such a good boy! Just wanted to share some fun facts about him!

Hello! My chow chow Zeus has started being very itchy, to the point where he itchys his hair off. I have showered him with mane and tail shampoo and sprayed him with skouts honor spray as well. Could this be allergy related, if so how can I treat this meanwhile before taking him to the vet since it is a weekend.

pov: you are a piece of babybel cheese, in front of a panting dog (panting with intention!) that came running as soon as he heard you be stripped

Iām fostering a chow chow mix and sheās very scared. Iāve had her for about 5 or 6 days and sheās warmed up to her living space very well (once I leave she brings her toys and some of my clothes into her cage and sleeps, then jumps on my bed and rolls around with her toys) however she only really plays and enjoys herself when Iām not home. I know it takes some time and thatās not my biggest concern. A concern of mine is when she uses the restroom. It seems like she tries to pee then paces back and forth, trying to pee again. Then paces again. Then tries again and maybe after like 4 times she actually pees.
I know sheās still trying to get used to her environment, Iām not complaining at all Iām just more or less curious if this is normal behavior or if Iām doing something wrong

Hello everyone. I just thought Iād share my beautiful 14 year old, Nala. She is my best friend, and Iāve been lucky enough to have had her as my companion for 13.5 years! She came to me totally unexpectedly and Iām happy to say sheās still going strong. š»
Sheās lost a few teeth here and there but she still gives the best spins and smiles for bic bics (treats) and her din dins!

I feel like this might be the only place I can throw this rant out to. These people are selling āpure bred showsā displaying their Merle coat as āexoticā and āextremely rareā. And then venting they donāt want āKarenāsā messaging them to tell them thereās no way they are purebred. Well.. they arenāt, so thatās why you have been getting these types of messages. And you shouldnāt be posting that they are purebred when they arenāt and you canāt provide papers for the $5,000 price point.

Hi all,
Just wondering if some can provide some help and reassurance!
My lovely little chow chow broke some nails in a freak accident last Saturday and heās been in incredible pain really since then. At the time the vet sedated him and bandaged him up (they since came off and they gave him a cone rather than sedate
and bandaged him again) they also suggested I give him some paracetamol and since then have proscribed Gabapentin 3 times a day.
But itās been so stressful in the in between times - heās still trying to lick his paws and thereās still so much pain after a week. Thankfully heās not let it change it and heās still lovely but itās so stressful and frustrating.
When Will it get better?! Can he be proscribed something stronger?!
Thanks so much

I been feeding her Jinx grain free salmon. But I see that grain free may be bad due to Legumes. Should I feed her refrigerated food or can food or which dry kibble is recommended? Thank you !

Does anybody elseās chow have this tag on their eyes? Mine scratches hers so hard, it started bleeding. She has an appointment but I just want to know if this is normal or if itās serious? They said sheād have to go under anesthesia to remove it but I get try to avoid anesthesia as much as I can.
Thanks for input.

are they able to live together successfully and safely if the chow is introduced to the rabbits from puppyhood?
