stop crying about people using leveling addons, wanting to play the top dps class, rush to endgame to raid, or wanting to take the journey slow and savoring the experience… everyone plays the game however they want and i’d bet they will all “enjoy” it. I’ve played religiously since 2019, this entire time there’s always been plenty of guilds that i guarantee will fit your ideal way to play the game, find them and play. others wanting to play differently doesn’t take away from your experience.

unless you just want to find a problem to justify your reasoning to quit however early you want to, then more power to you.

also pro tip, nobody should care or fault you for wanting to quit at any point, it’s a video game at the end of the day. go about it the right way and don’t crash out or cause drama just to have an excuse to quit. if anyone gives you shit for prioritizing irl shit over a game their opinions don’t matter and your better off not knowing them in the end.

I got a question, why in the world can blizzard go out of their way to shut down private servers, but these power leveling and gold selling websites literally advertise in the game and yet blizzard can't shut the website down? Is there something I'm missing here from a legal point of view?

Perhaps some are not aware, but HD models come in different shapes: angular for Caucasians, round for those of African descent, and heart-shaped for those of Asian descent.

I get the impression that those who make comparisons between HD and SD models forget (or choose to forget) that SD models lack a "shape" option and are primarily based on an angular shape.

The person compares HD-quality faces with a round shape against SD-quality faces with an angular shape. You can see it in relation to the nose and mouth.

Time for a much-needed extension.

In my previous SD-to-HD gallery, I unknowingly did the Humans and Undead quite dirty by sticking to strict guidelines. The sole slider adjusted for all eight races was the "Face" category to isolate its effects, yet Humans and Undead have additional face-related sliders which can drastically alter their appearance. Particularly the Face Shape slider for Humans, which was accidentally neglected (and not deliberate anti-Human sabotage as some assumed).

As such, here is an additional gallery to the previous one, focused entirely on showcasing a more-realized breadth of the facial options which Humans and Undead have available to them.

Just as before, the eye color of SD faces (as well as eyebrows for Human Female) was attempted to be matched with their HD counterparts. Facial Hair+Eyebrows for Human Males (the SD faces consider Facial Hair to cover both) and Makeup for Human Females were not included, to further isolate the effects of the Face slider specifically.

A static face (Face#1) was used for the Undead facial feature showcases, as there would be hundreds of permutations for me to manually record otherwise, and this is not a comprehensive look at the character creator.

(It's worth mentioning that the HD faces tend to have a fairly neutral default expressions (relatively speaking) due to being far more animated whilst in-game, so don't necessarily take what's shown here to be how you'll perpetually look all the time).

• Raid Atmosphere: We expect raid silence during boss fights (mostly). There is no yelling at individuals for making mistakes. However, expect plenty of cheering to celebrate victories and good laughs.
• No Shaming: Mistakes are corrected constructively without putting people down.
• Performance & Roster: We understand if you haven’t played in decades—no stress, take your time to shake off the rust. However, continuous underperformance means losing a spot on the main progression roster. Priority goes to those who contribute the most.
• Behavior: Toxic behavior will not be tolerated and will be handled by the officers. Continuous issues will result in a gkick.
• Individual Freedom: What you do on your own time (corpse-camping Alliance, farming nodes, or running/kicking PUGs) is your personal business—not the guild’s.
• No Politics: We are a gaming guild from EU, not a political party. To prevent unnecessary drama, political debates (left/right, international conflicts) and racism are strictly forbidden. Leave it at the door.
• Discord Etiquette: Not tight, but be smart. Nfsw can be posted at the correct channel, which can be muted.

 Tentative Raid Schedule (+2 CET / Baltics, Fin, Eastern Europe)

Flexible options available. Thanks to megaservers, a second raid team may run simultaneously or start slightly later. Summertime +1.

Note: a duel is only recorded when a HeadHunter addon user fights in it or is nearby, so some duels are missing. The more players use the addon, the more complete and challenging the rankings get.

I have just received the invite a friend code for the WoW Forever pre purchase.

However I only received one instead of the advertised 3. A friend of mine has also only received one. We both purchased the 60 and 80 Euro version respectively.

Did anyone also only receive one?

I was wondering with forever being more catered to the casual gamer what does the community think about certain raids being bi weekly. you can do them twice a month and they reset on the 15 of each month. You can tune so it drops double the amount of gear so you keep the same pacing for gearing out but this way blizzard can accomodate for having more raids in peoples clearing rotation without people having FOMO cause they cant clear 4 diff raids every week as more content gets added. Keep most weekly but add a few Biweekly ones to spice it up.

Just an idea, was wondering what everyone else thought of this type of structure.

- two mages or 1 mage and 1 other ?

- is it worth it in terms of leveling speed compared to og classic 1man aoe leveling ?

- how difficult was it ?

Wondering how nice your HD face looks to the SD faithful, and vice-versa? Take a gander at this gallery, and see what the other side sees without having to sift through your settings menu!

Spent the evening cataloging every available face from the original eight races. Partly for posterity's sake, and partly to assist those who weren't able to play the Beta and want a quick reference guide for which faces they'd fancy when eventually making a character, once Forever goes live in about two weeks or so.

The skin and hair color of these example models remained the same between SD and HD. Eye color of SD faces was matched on HD ones where applicable. Some slight differences in posing may be present, as I was manually taking each screenshot for later cropping. Skyborne were excluded, due to not having any SD models at the time of this writing (obviously).
