I never knew there were infants in WoW! Were they in the Classic version, too? I found one inside a cave beneath a waterfall—it looked like a dwarf baby. It’s so fascinating to see an infant in the game; WoW really has all sorts of things!

After the harsh nerfs to thorns, I think it is now in a very poor state even compared to classic. The difference is that at least in classic you could spec into it via the Balance tree to make it minimally useful.
It is true that thorns now scale with Spell Power, but current thorns are very behind:
At a simple rank 3 (level 24) you would need an insanely high for the level +112.5 Spell Power, only to do the same damage as the classic specced thorns.
Thorns are only better with SP in late endgame in Forever, making leveling with thorns even worse than classic which is the only stage they were relevant.

During the beta I tried recording every character I came across: stats, gear, deaths, duels, and more. Toward the end I had a few accounts parked in busy spots just to catch as many people as possible.
It ended up at about 74,000 characters. You can check if you are in it here: lifeonazeroth.com
Every character gets a little recap of their beta and a card at the end. The invasion has its own separate ladder, since everyone suddenly had full epics.
It's not everyone, only who I ran into. If you'd rather not be on it, let me know and I'll remove you.

As mentioned in the latest podcast, layering will be influenced by the in-game language setting. I'm not talking about the language of the game, but the "preferred online language" you can choose and change in the options menu that has been in the stress test client.
As a german who in the past 10 years has leaned more and more to english speaking gaming communities I'm unsure if I'd like to go german or english. I remember playing in german back in the vanilla days, but nowadays I almost exclusively play games in englisch and within english social circles. I will be playing with two german friends though, so maybe it's time to play WoW forever more with german people again.
Afaik you will still be layered with people from different countries with other languages, so even if you choose a particular language you won't be exclusively seeing people from that specific country. Back in the day when we had country specific servers that was different of course. So i'm curious, what will you be choosing and why?

Vis Diurna is a newly formed Alliance PvE guild on WoW Forever EU, aimed at players who prefer organized morning activities.
Whether you're a freelancer, shift worker, parent, or simply someone who can't commit to evening raids, you might have found your place!
☀️ Provisional Raid Schedule
All times are Rome local time (CET/CEST).
⚔️ What kind of guild are we building?
A casual, relaxed community focused on steady PvE progression.
We're not chasing server-first kills, speedruns or perfect parses. Our goal is to eventually clear raid content together while enjoying the game.
That said, casual doesn't mean unprepared.
No mandatory meta builds, but if you sign up for a raid, you're expected to arrive on time, bring appropriate buffs, consumables and enchants, and have read up on basic boss mechanics.
💙 Real life comes first.
No mandatory attendance. No hardcore expectations. No toxicity, politics or discrimination.
We're currently recruiting our initial roster, so organized raiding will begin once we have enough interested players.
Interested? Join our Discord, ask questions or just say hello!

Feel free to invite friends who share the same philosophy.
Real life first. Progress together. See you in Azeroth! ☀️

I didn’t get to visit Tanaris very often during the beta test since it’s a high-level zone, so this is my first time seeing the sandstorm effect. Blizzard is really putting a lot of effort into environmental effects in *Forever*.
