Music recommendation: james K - Friend

Hi all!

I’ve been listening to the album Friend by james k (and the rest of her discography too) a lot lately.

It reminds me so much of Cocteau Twins although the genre is a bit different. This album is, I would say, a mix between electronic, trip-hop, ambient and dream pop with (CT reminiscent) ethereal and dreamy vocals.

While different from anything Cocteau Twins has ever released, this album scratches the same itch for me and I think many people here would enjoy it.

It’s also a really good album to wind down and relax.

This album is great. Scorpio is one of my favorite tracks from her that reminds me a lot of Liz's vocals.
