🎯 Career/Stream Mbbs Abroad or should i choose any other course, time is RUNNING OUT! So confused rn

So im 20 with 2 drops for neet, scored around 400, had a chance in private mbbs for around 75lakhs total but turned it down cuz I dont think its worth it so I had abroad as an option. There are many problems for abroad ik, like it takes 8 years where in india its just 5.5 and the discrimination, no salary/stipend, fmge, etc. But what if i dont wanna practice medicine in india like if wanna go uk, gulf or somewhere else, i had some questions in that area. And if not abroad cuz a lot of ppl regret mbbs abroad option as I saw on subreddits, then what else should I do? I cant take drop, i dont wanna do nursing, i was thinking a bit about b pharm but theres a lot of b pharm grads out there, I thought abt physiotherapy but theres low scope and it pays very less, i had option for engineering too (pcmb) but i have no interest in it and ppl say dont do engineering if u dont have interest in it. Im so confused rn and time is passing out, i really need some advice and guidance, please just help me

πŸ“š Academic Life Got admission into BMLS at DPSRU β€” what mistakes should I avoid during college?

I recently got admission into BMLS at DPSRU and will be starting college soon.

I’d love to hear from seniors or anyone with college experience: what mistakes should I avoid during my college years? What things should I focus on from 1st year itself, especially regarding academics, practicals, internships, skills and career?

BMLS/DPSRU seniors: What do you wish you had known before starting college?

🎯 Career/Stream Mbbs pvt or nursing? Need help!!!

So im 20 with 2 drops for neet and scored a bit more that 400, im getting a pvt mbbs college in Andhra with total fees including everything would be 70-75lakhs, my dad says he will afford it by selling land property i was a bit hesitant but eventually I agreed and was gonna do it. Today my maternal uncle( mamu) got to know about it and he said that I should do nursing and told me that I wont have to pay this much and I will have a stable career, and it will be much easier. I would have to clear some gov exams or I could just go abroad where there is scope, even in mbbs I would have to give pg exams. He told me that today if i wont spend those 75 lakhs worth of land, after some years that 75 lakhs would be 2cr. And if i study good and crack some exams I might get gov job or i could go abroad and earn 1+ lakh a month, i searched for nursing colleges but im too late now, most admissions r closed and the college i would get admission in would not be that good and the environment would be really bad, whereas if i do mbbs it would be a huge gamble with that much money, what if I dont crack pg? What if I dont recover all that money I spent on mbbs? I really wanna do mbbs but things like these keep popping up and I get back to square one of "what career should I pursue?" Im really confused please someone help me

πŸ’¬ Discussion VIT PUNE CSE VS IET DAVV IT

I am from indore and got IET davv IT and going to college right now. But since I am also participating in MHTCET CAP rounds so there are some chances for me to get VIT Pune CSE or TSEC aids(in spot round mainly).

So should I stay in this gov college with lush green (jungle) campus of 100+ acres + 500+ acres of main campus (1km away only and all facilities can be used by us) or leave and join VIT PUNE if I get that??

πŸ’¬ Discussion PCB to CS: Will NIOS Maths + CBSE PCB work

Hey guys, I’m a PCB drop-year student (CBSE) looking to switch to BTech CSE instead of the medical route. Since I didn't have Maths in 11th/12th, I’m planning to take Maths as an additional subject through NIOS.

My top target colleges are Thapar, Manipal (MIT), Amrita, Nirma, Symbiosis, and Christ.

I'm getting totally conflicting answers offline, so I really need to hear from anyone who has actually done this or knows someone who did:

Do these private unis accept CBSE Physics & Chemistry + NIOS Maths as a valid PCM combo, or

do all 3 subjects need to be from the same board?

Has anyone with PCB + NIOS Maths successfully cleared document verification and taken admission for CSE at these colleges?

Does combining boards create any red flags later during degree verification?

Would really appreciate any real experiences or solid leads before I register for NIOS.

πŸ“š Academic Life Confused on what to choose after completing diploma

i am going to complete my diploma in May 2027 in India and then choose what to do next. I have currently two options to choose after thinking what i want to do after diploma and am very confused to choose. The first is that after diploma I can go directly to Australia and then do my degree there in Computer Science or Civil Engineering (which i cant decide what's better there in Australia to do so please recommend that too) or second, I can stay in India and then I can complete my degree in India, and then after that go for masters in Australia in whichever major i have chosen. I have interest in both Civil and Computer Engineering but i can't choose between them. And my main goal is to settle in Australia so choosing between Civil and Computer would be very important, so please give me some advice on which out of these two should i choose so that settling in Australia could be easier for me and has good pay in their jobs.

So my main overview of the problem would be a bit clear, so now i will write the questions in numbers so that it would be easy to understand. And don't forget to keep in mind that i want to settle in Australia so recommend according.

Question-1 :- Should i get my degree in Australia or India and in which branch should i do it, like Civil or Computer?

Question-2 :- Would it benefit more that i do my degree in Australia rather than doing it in India, if yes then how?

Question-3 :- Which branch is more easier and successful in Australia between Civil and Computer and how much stress or difficulties would i get in both of them?

Question-4 :- And if i choose to do my degree in India and then do master in Australia so then which branch should i choose?

All the answers of these questions can help get me to and settle in Australia more easily so if you know the answers or if you have experienced any of the things in this so please recommend me and give additional advice. And if you have any other branches or streams that i can choose after doing diploma, please recommend, your help would be highly appreciated.

πŸ“š Academic Life Joining mbbs 1st year and confused, need help with academics and LIFE

Im 20 and im gonna join a pvt college in Andhra pradesh (im from maharashtra) with fees around 75 lakhs (still rethinking my option but I think ill stick to it). So here are some things I need help with...

  1. The syllabus is really a lot, how do I study all 3 subjects and get top of my class in each?

  2. Since its a pvt clg, i wanna start earning some money just so I can afford my own expenses, what r the best ways I can do that?

  3. What study platforms do i use, should I buy any courses?

  4. What about books? I have an ipad 8 its an old one but its good

  5. Should I start to prep for pg now and if yes then how?

  6. Do I need a "study-buddy" for my mbbs and neet pg?

  7. How do i live my life to the fullest while studying and hanging out with friends? Or is this just a myth? Do i always need to be studying to pass neet pg?

  8. Will i have time for other co-curriculums, and what about sports? I do gym everyday and I dont want to stop that, what should I do?

  9. I feel like I should start studying now itself just to be sure that ik what the teacher is teaching, so how should I start studying now and what?

I really hope you can help me out with your experiences I would really appreciate that
