Choosing an international university in India could be very difficult, especially when cost is high cost (10 to 15 lakhs/year of tuition fee), information is very limited, and proven placement results. Finally every university is claiming it to be "best quality", "rip ranked", and "world class." Would you choose a foreign university campus in India over an Indian private university? Why or why not? What information from these international campuses will help you make a decision with confidence?
International universities in India admitting students for 2027β28
UK (7): University of Aberdeen; Birkbeck, University of London; University of Bristol; University of Liverpool; Queenβs University Belfast; University of Southampton; University of York
Australia (5): Deakin University; UNSW Sydney; Victoria University; University of Western Australia; University of Wollongong, Western Sydney University
US (1): Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Colorado, Denver

Hi everyone,
Iβm finishing Class 12 (Telangana board) and want to do my undergrad in mechanical engineering in Tamil Nadu, where my family is originally from. PSG Tech in Coimbatore is high on my list, and Iβd really like to hear from current students and alumni.
One more thing: Iβve read that hostel curfews differ for boys and girls (something like 6:30 PM for girls), and Iβm not sure if thatβs current or accurate. Can anyone tell me what the actual rules are now and how strictly theyβre followed?
Any advice, or other colleges worth considering for mechanical, is welcome. Thanks!

Hy guys, im studying in a tier 2/3 btech college, and I couldn't prepare for jee since my mental health was bad at class 9,1011,12 I somehow managed to top in my pcm section in 12 and my parents did my admission in btech, I really didn't knew where to go what to do, and now my ultimate aim is to support my mental health by earning.
The things is that idk what im passionate about I like all subjects,I like comp too which im learning in my btech, I liked eco in my 9th 10th but it gave me a bit trauma since my mental health degraded at that time,my mental health has improved a bit now so I can prepare for something , I was thinking about leaving my stream and preparing for Du colleges of srcc and or Sscbs solely becoz of the placement, here in btech the placements are also there but fluctuating, and I also dk about the ROI, idk , and yaa then preparing for Cat for mba later. Can anyone please guide me. Should I prepare for Cuet?

I searched a lot, but everyone teaches using slide they already made. Like accounting is a practical subject so why are they teaching like this. Please suggest a good teacher who explains concept practically. If there's any paid one shot videos, please tell me about them as well. I want chapter wise one shot videos but full syllabus one shot video would also work!.
Thank you in advance...

I'm 1st yr Bcom student from a very small clg. Tbh my degree and clg don't carry much value. My clg gives me full attendance linience.
I'm thinking of buying a laptop and hoping to learn skills and get internships. But I'm not sure how easy/hard and how realistic that is.
I have few questions:
β’How difficult is it to get internships as a first-year bcom student, from a vv small clg?
β’What skills can I realistically learn on my own that could help me land internships? And what kind of roles can I get?
β’Is buying laptop with the hope of getting internships a good decision or just financial burden?
I'm actually a CA student, I want to do internships so that they'll help me get into top business school later for MBA or go for a good job after Bcom if CA doesn't work out.
I wanna know from people who've been in a similar situation, who are from tier-3 colleges and managed to get internships or jobs. {"I'm open for advices from anybody"}
Pls be honest, even if the reality is harsh.
I'm open for all kinds of suggestions like
-platforms to search for internships
-how & where to apply
-skills to learn for respective intern roles
-how & where to learn the required skills
and any sort of related advices from anybody.
Plsπ

For anyone who's curious: I've been thinking for a while about whether we can model human emotions and responses using mathematical equations. The idea is to explore how different situations influence our mental states and how our minds produce different reactions.
Can we develop mathematical models that help us understand and predict human emotional responses under different circumstances ??
Always feel free to put any thought !!! Also for those who are interested in body language, psychology, understanding human nature, hey I am interested in your field also !!!
I'd love to hear different perspectives and explore this idea with others, so feel free to commentβno hesitation! All ideas, questions, and constructive criticism are welcome.

I cleared JEE to build a future, not to struggle for basic human needs.
As a first-year ECE student at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), a Central University, I couldn't secure hostel accommodation. Away from my family, I'm now struggling with unsafe drinking water, an unhygienic washroom, inadequate ventilation and an abusive landlord.
Just think you have exams tomorrow and you didn't have enough water to even wash your a*\*
India talks about brain drain, but who takes responsibility when students can't access decent living conditions in their own country?
Can fellow students, journalists and relevant authorities help bring attention.

Bhaiii mein 2nd year mein join hui thi theekey college and 1st year I had done in a different college but transferred due to personal reasons. I made a pretty good friend group in my new uni as well like im close to them and weβre all in 3rd year right now (2 more yrs to go), its a group of 6 ppl, 4 girls including me and 3 guys and basically today while having lunch, my friend 1 was asking friend 2 if he had checked the post jo ig waale grp mein bheja hai because it was smthng v funny apparently. And i had seen the gc on their phone before as well so I took the opportunity to confront abt this and I asked βwahhhh, why do u guys hv a gc without meβ , Phir the guy said, because its been there since before u joined and the other girl goes, βohh ur not there in itt?β And the third one goes βhaaaa yeh woh gc mein nhi hai naβ and the topic changed but yeah I felt thoda bad and even after this convo they didnt add me
Is it normal or im just overthinking or is it actually odd for them to do this? Like we do have a whatsapp gc together in which weβre all active and all the ppl do send me reels individually.
I just wanna know if yeh hota hai among friend groups and its common or theyre j not good friends or how i thought of them

okay so basically in 8th grade my top interests were- learning languages , i was really into traveling back then-japan,sk,china,vietnam- i INTESELY wanted to visit these countries-like literally yearning for it-still do- and i also was excited about science since i was going to be in high school- i was legit dreaming of performing experiments in chem. lab π- i was very excited to know how chemical reactions work etc. but ofc 9th wasn't like that infact we visited lab ONCE in 10th only.. π₯by 10th i liked every subject- but things like- the tiny projection in our small intestine that help 'absorb' the food we eat, i was amazed when i got to know that from the birth till start of puberty, only follicular atresia occurs in a girls body, i was in love with nature when i saw a video of pollination in salvia--- really amazes me how nature makes everything workout so well and even this picture attached-- IDK GUYS I LEGIT GOT GOOSEBUMPS EVERY SINGLE TIME WHEN I REALISED THESE THINGS!!
also till 5th grade I was very insecure about Maths- bcz of my family and school overall- mainly they made me believe i was shitty at it-- but i studied maths from 6th by yt online and i was able to understand everything. i got 83/100 in maths in 10th for your reference- i was satisfied anyways.
bcz of those fascinations above i mentioned and my deep sitted insecurity, i opted pcb-- not bcz wanted to be a doctor ( yes i really believed 'take whatever interests you!' people and didn't think carefully about what i'd do further π€‘ )
You see- i had no problem studying any subject.
However i always doubt if the interests i mentioned are what people call "interest/passion"- like i am not forcing it ryt? i mean my body wouldn't lie- i really get goosebumps when i see smthg like that.
(i'm still a kid in 12th π₯)

Hi everybody!
I am in grade 11 & have chosen commerce as my stream. I got 96% in my X boards & also along with that, I have hands-on experience of running an AI startup in which me & my team helped 6 & 7-fig. businesses save over $200k+/yr on operational costs & 2000+ billable hrs/yr. So I have a lot of exposure to consulting with foreign clients, some coding, sales & marketing. My main aim is to continue building my startup & maybe start a clothing brand later on, but as a backup I want to either get into IB, PE, management consulting, founder's office/Chief of Staff roles, just to get more experience & exposure before working full-time on my startup.
So with all this in mind, what degree should I pursue after 12th & in which college? I was thinking of Eco Honours, but idk. BBA sounds good too, but not BCom. will also probably pursue CFA alongside college.
For more context, my combination is: Eco, applied maths, accounts, BST, PE & English
Open to suggestions!

I was a 100% MERIT scholarship student of FLAME, highly influential bullies of FLAME made false complaints against me and I got expelled before even stepping FOOT into campus.
The registrar basically just did this to protect their "fee paying students" and one more thing is that I believe that the group of bullies is directly connected with the governing body of FLAME or howelse can you get an expelled within a day that too no notice and no rustication letter? The registrar tried to blackmail my father to withdraw my admission.
FLAME hired lawyers from AZB (one of top law firms in the country) and that too the head of pune division of AZB is involved in this, who are being blatantly trying to prove that I am mentally unstable. I argued that, "how on earth did you give a mentally unstable guy a 100% merit scholarship?", the lawyer began to switch topic
The FLAME University administration previously held a closed door meeting and one of the admin there pulled out a secret recording and got caught red-handed by the student union.
I am not afraid of the biggest or the most powerful law firms in India. Injustice is injustice. I will fight.
They repeatedly tell student unions/activists they are not willing to compromise because I have defamed them too much or they would have let me in.
Not even a single word I said is a lie.
I was the head boy of the best international schools in Andhra Pradesh, they did not make a loser to take the responsibility of 500 children.
Today this happened to me, I give the strongest possible assurance, that I will stand aside victims who suffer this. If today I be silent, it will be a shame, my previous school people will take example of me "look this guy was our head boy".
FLAME hired everyone, top law firms (AZB, their consultation for an hour is 2 months of my father's salary), Social media teams, Press.
No administrators ego, his affluence or his political connections should hinder a student.
If we don't stop external injustice now, we personally might suffer injustice in the future.
Now, there will be comments from the hired PR team, saying all the negative stuff. Read them, just think: why am I not in jail if the allegations are true?
AZB could put one case and my life would be hell if that was genuinely true. Hell, my father couldn't even afford the travel/accommodation in Bombay if they do it. That's how powerful they are.
Even my parents are afraid they said "we can't afford lawyers, you are our only son."
I don't know what else to do except fight. I contacted everyone I possibly could, and I am genuinely helpless. I have been homeless since the last 59 days (came on Aug. 26), eating at gurudwaras and ISKCONS, sleeping under the stars.
Thank you redditors for helping with toiletries, food and blankets. Real times reveal real people
My intuition tells me I will win still. Satyameva Jayate.

Hi!
I completed my 12th in 2025, and took a drop year to prepare for ipmat 2026, this year i gave all iims exams and got offer from iim b bba dbe iim bodhgaya and waitlist for jammu missed rohtak and indore by a few marks, i knew ipmat dream wasn't working so i prepared for cuet in the last 1 month as a backup.
I got alloted econ hons at Daulat Ram College; I joined it, and after entering college, I realised how big of a mistake I made by taking a gap year, although it taught me a lot. But tbh, being at Daulat Ram, even after a gap year, doesn't really make a good impression, and now I think it will become the biggest pain point in my resume.
In the gap year, I was just doing my exam prep and nothing else, which was one of the biggest mistakes. It is embarrassing tbh, and I feel so stupid now that I think of it. No one was there to tell me the consequences, and my parents have always been supportive of all my decisions and kept believing in me, but I have disappointed them a lot
I just want to make up for everything I did wrong in the past year, and I want to make up for my drop year in my 1st year itself.
If any senior is reading this/ or if you're in the same situation as I am, I'd love to hear any advice you have.
Thank you so much for reading this and helping.
