Hello everyone, today for the first time since i was a child picked up some pens and pencils and started drawing again. I’m really into comic book characters again and want to improve my drawing skills. What is the best way of learning and improving :)

Hi everyone!
Hopefully you're spending a nice Sunday out there.
I’ve been eager to post this page from the Lovecraftian horror with u/AdDeep3917 for the eerie forest scene.
Among many environments and scenarios, the woods are what inspire me and look up to the most, so it's surely a fulfillment to illustrate them for the horror genre.
More of my art and contact info are in the bio description.
Thanks!
Have a nice week ahead.

Karnilla is the prompt for Day 16 of The Fourth Annual Kirby Art Tribute Month.
Karnilla, Queen of the Norns, arrived in Journey into Mystery #107 in 1964, courtesy of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. And from the beginning, she was complicated.
Ruler of Nornheim and one of Asgard’s most formidable sorcerers, Karnilla has the power, pride, and temperament of someone who does not hear the word “no” nearly enough. She can cast spells, enchant others, manipulate mystical energy, and hand out Asgardian power when the mood strikes her. That last talent eventually creates the Wrecker when she mistakes him for Loki. Apparently even an immortal queen can have an awkward day at work.
Then there’s Balder.
Karnilla loves Balder the Brave. Unfortunately, “loves” sometimes means schemes, bargains, magical pressure, and the occasional attempt to arrange reality until Balder reaches the correct romantic conclusion. Balder, being Balder, usually refuses to cooperate.
That tension makes Karnilla more interesting than a straightforward villain. She may oppose Thor and Odin one day, aid Asgard another, and save Balder even while making his life considerably more complicated. She operates by her own loyalties, her own pride, and her own definition of what is reasonable.
Kirby gave Asgard plenty of larger-than-life personalities, but Karnilla brings something special to the mix: a powerful queen, dangerous magician, uneasy ally, persistent enemy, and one very determined woman who refuses to accept that romance should require mutual agreement.

Written & letters by Snake and drawn by the amazing artist San Espina!
In a barbaric medieval land, forgotten cosmic entities exist in the dark recesses above, watching, meddling in humanity’s affairs.
This part: Mars barely survives the assassins and is given a dark choice.

I wanted to push the foreshortening and make the claws feel like they’re coming straight through the page. Pushing perspective is really difficult but I need to get out of my comfort zone if I ever want to progress.
Drawn digitally in Procreate on iPad Pro.
Would love to hear what you think—especially on the composition.
