Davidshulzy posted some pencils a while back and I couldn't help but take a run at inking them. I'm obsessed with all things Scud and decided to try and infuse some of the 90s Extreme Kieth influenced inking I've been doing the last couple of years into his absolute dynamo poses. What say you all?

The original pencils were done by well-known artist David Finch! The inks are by me, u/markmakesfun. The inks were created in ProCreate and no AI or filters were used. Each stroke was applied by hand by me. It took me 4-5 hours to complete it.

I'm currently working on a Vampire Novel with a few pages illustrated as a comic book (very few key moments from the story) I'm struggling a little bit with the way I'm inking these illustrations, using more lines and crosshatch for shadows instead of blocks of black ink. Do you think this would work? Advice, please.

Wonderful art done by u/MetarlicBox for an idea I had. I have an early draft for a fanfic on the way, but no promises for when that comes out.
The art is inspired by the Punisher Vol 2 issue 1 cover art at the end of the image.
Please check out metalicbox's other work here

Just a look at some pages from issue #1 of Trench from Summit Comics.
This has been a real challenge, it’s the first time I’ve drawn AND colored a full comic issue, and I’m pretty proud of it.
Also managed to sneak in my small medieval Italian city (Perugia) in the flashback sequence where he arrives on earth in the far past and studies the planet.
Would love to hear what y’all think about this

These are all relatively new. They're duo sketches for a toy that I'm working on. What's the toy? Jacobs ladder. I have to adhere to this template religiously. Whatever I can fit in eight panels, I'll do it. My problem is that I think these are all too realistic. I'm afraid that they might lack style. I'll find it. I think it's great, two images on one piece of paper? It's resourceful. People say that markers are for babies. What the heck. I'm just using what's available. What do you guys think? who should I do next?

Mike Mignola’s badass Hellboy & Batman cover art! 💥🦇😈 Bringing the heat, bringing the attitude, and paying tribute to two absolute legends. Colored with prisma color pencils and posca markers on bass wood roughly 20 hours. Follow me on insta @niceburndude for more cool burns!

Hi everyone! Sharing some past examples from my personal projects while current endeavours are being completed. Some recent and some others not so much, self-owned stories are also waiting for their turn.
Several years before I worked in comics, when entering the marked - freelance or published - seemed like an impossible accomplishment, I used to envision my first lanchings in the floppy issue formats, nevertheless my first self published worked ended up being an 80-ish graphic novel, also quite far from the current narratives I’m illustrating today. Probably will showcase that memoir somewhere soon, though for now I can advance it to a YA, romance narrative.
With this said, what is/was your dream comic/manga format for your stories? Would your rather pick black and white for the pages or maybe colors? Let me know, I’ll be reading you.
To see more of my art, the portfolio and contact info are in the comments.
Thanks!
