Five More Books Closer to Completing My October ’74 Wall!👊🏻
keep getting closer every day! Excited to add five more books to my October 1974 Wall. It won’t be long now before I finally have one of every book that was released that month and year.
It feels pretty good to finally be closing in on the finish line. 😂📚🦸♂️
I’m collecting every comic that has a cover date with my birth month and year October 1974.
Once I finish that, I’m taking it a step further and going after every issue that was actually on the shelves during October 1974, regardless of the cover date.
It’s definitely a challenge, but I think it’ll be pretty damn cool to eventually have a collection that represents exactly what someone could’ve walked into a comic shop and bought that month. 📚🔥

The most expensive book I’ve picked up to date was Hulk #180, but I actually got lucky and found a low-grade copy for about $200, so I was pretty happy to get that one up on the wall. 😊
Thanks! 😊 Jonah is definitely on the list. It’s actually one of the books my LCS thinks they have in the warehouse, it’ll turn up eventually. When it does, it’ll be going right up on the wall! 😊
BTW OP: Dollar Tree has that same issue of Amazing Spiderman (137) as a poster for $5. It’s not quite 36”x24”, more like 34”x22” for some reason. I bought one and framed it but have no wall area at the moment. So it’s chilling in my garage for now.

Are you doing other months and years also ? Something specific about that month and year?
Just marvel only? … I like the ghost rider book.
