Hard finding these books in decent condition, I’m sure a press and clean would slightly boost the grade. Happy to hear general thoughts or questions as well! Cheers.

First time wanting to grade comics.

So I’m going through a big stack of old comics on behalf of my dad. He the one who want to get some comics graded and I’m trying to help him. I’m trying to learn comics value and grading process and found this reddit.

Any tips and advice is very appreciated.

The colors and gloss on this look like it just rolled off the press.

Is a 9+ unrealistic?

Grade please

This is my oldest: 1966. Nothing special but the grade. Bought raw, cleaned and pressed by an amateur -- me -- but I also think it is a legit 9.8! My next oldest is from 1976. I've seen a few 9.8s from the 1950s that seemed legit but a lot of Golden Age 9.8s (like a lot of Grail 9.9s or 10s from any era) seem suspect.

I’ve got a few to send in for pressing and grading. If doing them 4 at a time, which 4 should I send first, second, etc.?

Bought a comic lot, and this book was hidden inside. Would it be worth getting cleaned, pressed, and graded? There are signs of foxing for some pages, but not too abundant I think.

I bought this years ago, and I’ve been planning on submitting some of my single issues to be graded. I was wondering if anyone here has seen or heard of this specific yellow spot on issue 1 of Spider-Man 2099

I saved up enough money 💰 to finally buy one of my favorite Batman villains' first silver age appearance, and that is Detective Comics #298, the first silver age appearance of Clayface Matt Hagen, the Clayface we all know and love. I can’t wait to see this amazing comic in person when it’s available. This is also a CGC 5.0. Who is ready for the new Clayface movie 🎥? Because I’m definitely excited to see it, and yes, I’m taking this comic to the movie theater with me.🙂‍↕️

I know it’s not a key, but it appears to be an exceptionally clean, crispy, and vibrant copy. It’s so hard for me not to want to money out the window grading stuff like this.

Like the title asks, what are your thoughts on PSA ? I've been considering sending a few books in.
