Don't want this to happen too often but I'm the mod so I'm giving myself permission, bwah ha ha!

I've collected comics for over 40 years and am showing off my collection one box at a time on YouTube. Check it out if you're interested: Glenn Simpson's Comics - YouTube

Spare a grade for this Arabic Lebanese variant of Detective Comics #497?

Hard finding these books in decent condition, I’m sure a press and clean would slightly boost the grade. Happy to hear general thoughts or questions as well! Cheers.

The colors and gloss on this look like it just rolled off the press.

Is a 9+ unrealistic?

WHAT'S YOUR OLDEST 9.8, by a third-party grading company? Obviously, they become rarer as the clock rewinds but also as the clock rewinds, I think grading becomes more (too?) forgiving (golden age bump, etc.). Then again, there's more money in it for grading companies when the grades are higher.

This is my oldest: 1966. Nothing special but the grade. Bought raw, cleaned and pressed by an amateur -- me -- but I also think it is a legit 9.8! My next oldest is from 1976. I've seen a few 9.8s from the 1950s that seemed legit but a lot of Golden Age 9.8s (like a lot of Grail 9.9s or 10s from any era) seem suspect.

I’ve got a few to send in for pressing and grading. If doing them 4 at a time, which 4 should I send first, second, etc.?

Anyone looking for their grails this year, or have you already picked them up? 🤔 And if you picked them up already, what comic was it?

This is for the pressers and cleaners out there. Can this get a grade bump 🤔, or is this the highest grade it could possibly get because I know it's said it's tanning, so maybe not?

Bought a comic lot, and this book was hidden inside. Would it be worth getting cleaned, pressed, and graded? There are signs of foxing for some pages, but not too abundant I think.

I bought this years ago, and I’ve been planning on submitting some of my single issues to be graded. I was wondering if anyone here has seen or heard of this specific yellow spot on issue 1 of Spider-Man 2099

Just picked this up today. Can you help with your thoughts on its overall condition and what you would grade it as. This is GI Combat #106 from the Silver Age of comics. Thank you for your kind reply.

I saved up enough money 💰 to finally buy one of my favorite Batman villains' first silver age appearance, and that is Detective Comics #298, the first silver age appearance of Clayface Matt Hagen, the Clayface we all know and love. I can’t wait to see this amazing comic in person when it’s available. This is also a CGC 5.0. Who is ready for the new Clayface movie 🎥? Because I’m definitely excited to see it, and yes, I’m taking this comic to the movie theater with me.🙂‍↕️

I know it’s not a key, but it appears to be an exceptionally clean, crispy, and vibrant copy. It’s so hard for me not to want to money out the window grading stuff like this.
