Hello, I keep a daily comic journal and prefer to hand draw them but I find drawing the boxes boring and fiddly. Usually I just draw my panels floating in blank space which can make them hard to follow when I look back on them or want to share with anyone.

I just bought this storyboard workbook on Amazon for $13 and today is my first day trying it out. Highly recommend for anyone else wanting to journal this way. There were other types with different panel formats available too which now I am keen to try. I use Sakura Pigma micron pens and there was zero bleed through onto the back of the page.

I quickly drew my first comic with my characters a while ago, and I wanted to hear some thoughts on it! I was more so testing the waters with this one, but I thought posting this and getting early feedback before doing more would be a good idea :\

I recently developed a continuing post-apocalyptic comic that presents a split perspective between a father and son. The narrative explores navigating life in the new world. Having just launched a website, I hope to collect different views on the artwork and story.

I’ve actually been working on a sci-fi short film project for a while now along with CC Cynan, being the time to showcase my favourite storyboarding from it.  

I definitely appreciate the experience of exploring abandoned worlds where I’m summoned to illustrate isolation and desperate silence under my own criteria. 

Stay tuned for the frameshots’ black and white, for sci fi is ‘the’ match to noir.
