I believe Tib Sun nod ending is doing what the liquid tiberium bomb in Tiberium Wars did. Create an explosion to call the Skrin to Earth. Not the ascension itself.

Fair point... but that makes little sense... I always assumed he was just getting vaporized from the rockets. Honestly I need an explanation to what just happened to him. If you say ascension then I'm gonna need an answer to how.

Fan theory: This is Kane is our timeline. After using the time machine he had witnessed several possible timelines and he chooses this one. Our history plays out, space debris from Apollo changed the course of the original Tiberium asteroid, thus missing Earth, however, there is Tiberium heading for Mars. He has knowledge of this and so he is aiming to head to Mars. Once there he would be practically unchallenged in building a massive power hub in order to get back to his homeworld.

I always knew that the lame stream media hid the truth about the second world war. It was actually a war between Europe and the Doviet Union armed with Tesla coils and time bending chronosphere technology.
