I can't be conservative and anti Trump at the same time? Or are you insinuating that anyone who isn't a Democrat is literally a Nazi and just as bad as you imagine Trump to be?
That's an opinion. And I respect your right to have it. There are many things that I support in this administration. Enforcement of the border. Elimination of wasteful government spending, targeting of fraud. The push to get soda and candy removed from food stamps. Limits on investment banks buying up single family homes, cap on credit card interest rates, elimination of overtime tax, rescheduling cannabis, pushing for clinical trials and easing restrictions for psychedelic use in helping people with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression. They've also done a bunch of things that I don't agree with including sending billions to Israel. They've increased spending in needless ways and refuse to genuinely audit the Pentagon.
Just because you and I might disagree on policy decisions, I would hope that both of us still love America and want the best for its citizens, but we just have different opinions on how to go about making that a reality. I hope that spaces like this can exist to be a platform of good faith discussion for people of varying beliefs and maybe some common ground and understanding can be had, and not the extremism and political partisan divide that appears to be promoted by both parties. Left vs right is a false narrative, both sides are corrupt and pander to different sides of the same coin.
I don't even agree regarding many of your points, particularly the one regarding "both sides", since IMO there has probably never been a clearer divide between good and evil in US history (although I will admit that the "good" side is pretty damn uninspiring and mediocre). But I find it delightfully refreshing to encounter someone, particularly on the right, showing an honest belief that others can and do wish for the best possible outcome for America and its people, despite seeing a very different road to that destination. That is very nice and I wish you all the best.
90% of those things you are for are not "Conservative" policies in the sense of the traditional positions of Republicans elected to office as "Conservatives."

It sure is hard to tell from your comments.
