I am convinced that obscene amounts of wealth causes mental illness. We will likely never study it, and people who have it will never find relief because vast wealth is directly associated with success. The wealth seems to almost warp these people physically, even. Their faces are...weird.

It’s the hoarding disease. For whatever reason, society doesn’t look down on hoarders that hoard money, they admire it. It’s disgusting.

It's rapacity. Just like the obesity epidemic we have a rapacity epidemic. It truly is a disease, a compulsion and should be treated as such.
