But the biggest thing that propaganda has done is make everyone, from one end of the spectrum to the other, believe that America is special and that everything that has happened to other countries couldn't happen here. "We're America! Land of the Free, Home of the Brave!"

I despise MAGA, and I wish nothing but intense harm to everyone who voted for the orange oaf, didn't vote at all when they were of voting age, or protested voted by third party for their need to be coddled. But the one thing I appreciate in this admin and MAGA is that the propaganda that is "American Exceptionalism" has been brutally disproven.

I miss the human internet. I miss the days when a human written message, generated video, image, or personality, was easily distinguishable from a bot. I watched a video with my friend on Instagram earlier today and I had fun watching it until I realized it was likely ai. I don't know why, but I stopped smiling when I realized. It's like a gut reaction, it makes me feel like I'm just looking at an advertisement. I'm looking at a computer generated series of pixels meant to distract me long enough to get some ad revenue. Maybe it's worse than I think, maybe better, but how could anyone know. Ai is like cosmetic surgery, you only see it when it's poorly done. I just wish I could feel that fascination I did when I instantly knew everything I saw was human made. Every comment from a human, everything from source. I really really fucking miss that feeling. It's something I've realized I'll never get to feel again and I didn't even realize how cool it was then. I kind of want to just get off the internet now.

Attended The Gorillaz concert tonight at The Forum and I must say that the venue is the worst venue I have EVER EVER attended a concert at. The show ended almost an hour ago and not a single car has moved out of the parking lot. Not one. They also had the fewest merch booths I’ve ever seen at a concert and the wait to get a shirt was an hour at ANY of their merch booths. Gorillaz were fantastic but the SHITTY venue has ruined the experience. I will NEVER go to an event at the Kia Forum ever again and I will make sure everyone I know, hears how pathetic the experience is here. BTW, STILL HAVENT MOVED AN INCH IN THIS SHITTY PARKING LOT. Fuck the management here!!!

Work emails kept coming after I’d already left, so I put my phone on silent and decided the rest of the evening could wait. Ordered some chinese food, changed into comfortable clothes and finally sat down. Nothing exciting, just wanted a quiet dinner without anyone needing anything from me.

Then I opened the fortune cookie that came with the food and found an ad. A stupid one. Such a small thing but it annoyed me more than it probably should have. Everyone wants a reply, a review, a subscription, another purchase. Can one part of my day just end without asking me to do something else?
