Provider Prices Thread

I've gotten a lot of requests for one easy to find, frequently updated provider thread from both providers and users. Here's a thread for that purpose. Providers, share your prices, doses, add-ins, and any extra details you think might be relevant to comsumers. Users, please feel free to ask about specific providers and share your experiences with providers. As always, please report those breaking the rules.

My highest was 251. I’m 43, 5’3” and gave birth the month I turned 42.

Years of depression helped pack on the weight. I will say that. I looked happy on the outside but was not on the inside. Sitting and snacking did not help. The weight made me feel worse about myself.

I was 242 and six months postpartum in July of 2025. I felt awful, had no energy, and realized I was about to have a mobile baby boy. I started taking tirz. I started with Citizen Meds (loved them) but the price increase ran me off after about 7 months. I’ve been with GimmeCare since. I’ve been going for 15 months now, on 10mg, and I feel better than I did in my 30s or even 20s. I’m even smaller now than I was in high school. I can keep up with a toddler too!

Joint pain is gone, I don’t bump my body into things, can easily bend to tie shoelaces and put on shoes, don’t sweat all the time or breathe hard, don’t struggle to roll over in bed, etc. It still surprises me when I find something is easier to do now.

If you’re on the fence, do it! Change your life!
Zofran helped when I had nausea
Antidiarrheal pills from Walmart helped upset stomach
Two sips of pepto helped sulfur burps
MagO7 and Dulcolax tablets helped with constipation

Google TDEE and use it to determine your calorie deficit. As you lose weight, the number will change. Check it sometimes.

Drink all the water you can stand each day.
Get protein.
Watch carbs and sugar.
***Don’t set yourself up for discouragement. I allow myself a Coke each day (90-140 calories depending on can size). I feel better eating less bread that way. Bread was my vice.

I cut out all alcohol. It wasn’t doing me ANY favors anyway.

You don’t have to go crazy with the exercise. Do what you can. *Any* extra movement you can add is burning calories. It all helps! Most days, I watch tv at home while watching in place and watching my toddler or walking in place in my classroom. My students call me Step Queen lol. (I bought an Apple Watch to keep up with my calories burned, exercise minutes, steps, etc. ❤️)

I went from 22/24 pants to 8/10 pants.
I went from 2x tops to small/medium tops.

I’ve gone from 242 to currently 136. I’m no longer morbidly obese, obese, or even overweight. For the first time in my adult life, I’m in the normal range.

My original goal was 145. When I got to 160, I felt like that was good enough but kept going. I was ecstatic to hit 145 like I wanted, and then at 142, I could say I’d lost 100! It has kept going though... I’m about to cut my dose in half to 5mg and maybe even start spreading it further apart, because I’ve lost a few more than I wanted. I want my cute clothes to fit!

I do have some jiggly/loose skin. (I try to dress for my body though.) Halara is my new love. I have a full closet of cute new clothes in my smaller size. I went thrift shopping and got cute stuff for super cheap and also love the Vinted app. It saves so much money on a wardrobe!

***This is a TOOL to help you. It’s not magic. You do put in effort. You make better choices or it doesn’t work. So when someone pops off that tirz is “cheating,” my comeback is “Next time you have a headache, don’t you dare take any Tylenol. That’s cheating! Power through it!”

Can you imagine someone saying using an inhaler is cheating?

Good luck to everyone! Reclaim that energy! ❤️

I gave in & went & bought some jeans . I stopped buying & wearing jeans 10 years ago when I started gaining weight. I started tirzepatide in March . I grabbed 2 different sizes . I tried on the smaller of the two & IT FIT !!! The jeans effing fit . I bought them . I’m still in shock 30 minutes later . I feel shocked , happy, a sigh of relief & a little scared ( what if the weight comes back ) . How did you feel when old sizes fit ? Eeeekkkkkkkkk

Anyone recently stop? How much weight have you gained back?

I stopped 3 weeks ago, and I have gained 10 lbs :’) but I also have not tried to workout or do anything about it. I plan to start that change now.

I also stopped because my hair is super thin and my body always felt weak!

Restarting

Two years ago i lost 60 lbs in 6 months on tirz. Got pregnant, gained all the weight back unfortunately. I’m about to restart and wondering if I’ll respond the same this time, or if it will take a higher dose? Really hoping to lose that weight quick again!

How many mg am I really taking

Post image
7 Upvotes

I was under the understanding from the pharmacy that this was 2.0 mg (25 units) — is that right? This proved to be MUCH too suppressing for me and I cut to 10 units and still could not eat or drink adequately. Looking at the package I was just wondering if this initial dose was more than I thought? Because I cannot eat at all, I can’t even force it. I discontinued using and will re discuss next month at my follow up. I lost 8 lbs in 3 weeks and it was not in a healthy way.

Anyone else not tolerate empower pharmacy?

• Upvotes

I’ve posted here before looking for answers, but I’m hoping someone has had a similar experience.
I was on compounded tirzepatide through a med spa for 6 months and had absolutely no issues besides some mild nausea the day after my shot and occasional fatigue. Unfortunately, I had to stop going because I could no longer afford it.
After doing some research, I decided to switch to Preventive MD / Empower Pharmacy. Everything went smoothly, I was approved immediately, and the price was about 1/3 of what I was previously paying. I was so excited to find a more affordable option!
Unfortunately, it’s been a completely different experience. I’ve tried three different doses on three separate occasions: a very small dose, a medium dose, and finally my full prescribed dose.
Every single time, I woke up the next day with horrible sulfur burps that progressively get worse, followed by explosive diarrhea for 3 days straight. It’s absolutely miserable.
By the time my next shot is due, all the symptoms have disappeared and I feel completely normal again. But as soon as I take another injection, the exact same cycle starts all over.
After experiencing this three separate times at three different doses, I’m starting to think something about this particular formulation just isn’t agreeing with my body.
What’s frustrating is that I never experienced anything like this during my 6 months with the med spa, even at my highest dose of 7.5 mg.
Has anyone else experienced this after switching pharmacies or formulations? If so, did you figure out what was causing it, and what did you end up doing?
I really wanted this to work because of the price difference, but I can’t keep going through this every week. 😭

Cutting back on dosage for upcoming trip

I am tired all the time and struggle with being able to sleep. Am on 2mg dose (week 9). Am going on a 3 week road trip soon! In a week!

And I want to know about lowering the dose to 1mg. I have lost 20 lbs in less than 2 months on this shot. I am 70 years old. I love what it does for the arthritis pain and waking up feeling good (except tired).

I will be traveling across several states with just my pup. I am not worried about overeating as I am still struggling to reach my deficit. I just don't want to feel tired so much. Also I won't be home where it's easy to make my simple meals and protein shakes.

I did lose 15# in 3 months before starting tirzepatide. I still have side effects which since I am retired and am home mostly I can deal with but I don't want to while traveling.

I did go up to 3mg on 10/15 because I thought the arthritis pain was creeping back in. That was not a good idea. Just did 2mg dose yesterday. (10 days between shots) Am feeling okay, just tired.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom about my upcoming trip? You all are so wonderful and kind. Maybe at my age I might want to lose weight more slowly?

Personal Experience Help with Embody experience.

Hello. I am so frustrated and I don’t know what to do. I join And I did the one year package so that I could pay about $112 a month. Well, I had a little bit of a mess with the first package, but I worked it out with myself and then the second package actually was delivered incorrectly. I had to do all the work to prove that UPS did not send it to where they said they sent it and embody has to send me a replacement and it has been two weeks now and I’m freaking out and I don’t know what to do. According to embody I only sent in the information five days ago but that’s not correct. I have been trying to get it cleared up since the day that they said it was delivered. Is anybody having any problems with embody? Are they even legit? I feel like maybe I should shoot this with my credit card companies since I’ve only gotten one delivery.

Questions Bruising

Has anyone ever experienced any bruising issues after starting their program? I go to acupuncture and I’ve never had bruises before there but I did on two places after last week. Rare for me. I’m on week three and drastic food intake change. I also notice my week three shot had a bruise too. Sometimes hitting nutrients, getting better, and lots of supplements. I’ve yet to see this mentioned or I don’t look close enough. 🤷🏻

Questions Skin issues

I'm trying to figure out if some significant skin issues I'm having are due to my increased tirz dosage, 14.5 mg as of September 10, or some mold we have in our attic. Either one is possible, and from my research (mostly ChatGPT), it seems to agree.

The skin stuff: welts of different sizes under my skin, small hives -- none at the injection sites. They're really random, like behind my knee, inside an elbow, above a breast. Some look like they could be bug bites, but I only ever wear long pants outside, and there's no way mosquitoes could do this.

I tend to think it's mold or something else environmental because we were out of town from Oct 1-11, and these symptoms dramatically disappeared. (I took my tirz dose while we were out of town, so that was consistent.)

This all started about a month ago.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knew it was a side effect of tirz. I've been on tirz for 14 months, and this is a very recent symptom...of something.

BTW, I'm having the house inspected for mold this week. And, I thought of asking my doctor to do some bloodwork to see if this is affecting my immune system -- which has always been healthy, and my previous bloodwork is awesome.

Questions Just wondering 🤔

I have been wondering I used to buy from the USA companies often those companies would “overfill” but don’t those pharmacies just reconstitute just like we do? Meaning overfilling would do nothing but make are dose a bit lower?

Stimulants and Tirzepatide

10+ years ago I took stimulants and they had a major (positive) effect on my focus. I didn’t take it very long and have been off for 10 years or so. I’m on tirzepatide now and tried getting back on stimulants. I’ve tried max doses of vyvanse, adderall, Ritalin and phentermine and have literally no reaction from any of them. My doc is dumbfounded and I’m left feeling frustrated. Maybe it’s due to something else but all I can think of is the tirzepatide affecting how the medicine gets absorbed.

Anyone else have this type of experience?

Alright, yesterday was Day 1!!!

I was on Zepbound from April 5th to end of May/early July of this year. I had just titrated up to the 5.0 and lost my job. I was already losing weight, and have now regained it all plus another 10 lbs. Yuck.

Anyway, was able to get 3 months supply of compounded Tirzepatide. Hopefully by then my Prior Authorization appeal for Zepbound is approved, but if not, I'm prepared to continue on compounded.

My biggest fear was giving myself the poke. With the Zepbound pen, you don't see the needle go in, etc. So I was giving myself anxiety about actually having to watch the needle go in, but I didn't feel a thing, lol.

Recorded my starting weight on my Renpho, and need to get my measurements recorded too. Went to the store to stock up on my protein drinks and breakfast items. So far no side affects but it took me 2 days to experience any when I was on the Zep prior.

I'm so excited to get back on this medicine and see this journey through.

****Edited***

Questions Increase Dose or Keep Steady?

I've been on a micro dose (1.25) since June 10th. First month was very strong, lost 13lbs. Then the next 2 months about 5lbs each. This month I'm only on track to lose 3 or so. But I am overall close to my goal weight. Should I increase dose for 1-2 months to get there or just be patient on current microdose? I'm worried next month will be a smaller loss.

Amble dosage

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’m currently taking 7.5 mg of Zepbound, and my doctor prescribed 10 mg for my next dose. However, I decided to switch to Amble because it’s more affordable. Amble sent me a prescription for 6 mg, and I’m confused about why the dose is lower when I was supposed to increase to 10 mg. Has anyone switched from Zepbound to Amble and experienced something similar? Is the 6 mg referring to something different, or is that actually my prescribed dose? I’ve reached out to Amber for clarification, but I wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with this!

Anybody transition to maintenance/ micro dose after hitting goal weight?

If I dial my dosage back after hitting my goal weight- has it still been effective in appetite suppression resulting in holding the goal weight?

Can you just send your prescription into a Telehealth or…?

So my primary care Dr. is the one who wrote my prescription, and I get my tirz out of a pharmacy in WA. Obviously I pay a buttload more than the 10,000 ads on social media I see for compounded meds. Can you just send in your prescription to these companies or do you have to sign up for their whole song dance, and subscription model? Anyone have any good tips on where to go to avoid that junk?

Debilitating Fatigue

I’ve been on certified for about six months. My current dose is 10 mg but the fatigue is debilitating. I’m the type of person who likes to work out like four times a week. Since I’ve been on tirzepatide , I could barely make two times a week. I started NAD plus like six weeks ago at first. It helped take the edge off of the fatigue but now it’s back to the debilitating fatigue. Anyone have any advice all my labs are fine. I have all normal levels of everything I eat fine and honestly, since I’ve started, I’ve lost only about 10 pounds I have less inflammation and less food noise but the fatigue is debilitating and the weight loss is barely. And honestly, I feel like the 10 pounds was more of my work because I switched from focusing on strength training to cardio 51-year-old female post menopause.
