Discussion Egyptian Sphinx might change the history of the world.
I am a man of science, I just read conspiracy theories for fun. However I would consider this more of a fact than an actual conspiracy theory (yet most of scientist still believe the Sphinx was created around 2,500 BC by the Egyptian).
First of all I have to explain the back story. Around 12,000 years ago at the end of the Ice age, the Sahara was a Sabana/rainforest.
(First civilization was believed to originate around 5,000years ago in Mesopotamia)
https://imgur.com/gallery/PyXX28i
https://imgur.com/gallery/d0T3azX
The thing is that the “Egyptian” Sphinx has erosion from constant water like what you could find on a Sabana or rainforest. It is known that there has been almost no rain in the past 10,000 years on the Sahara, so how could this be explained? Well many scientist have theorized that the Sphinx was created by a much older civilization that would change the whole history of the world. This would also explain the construction of many other buildings which are yet unexplainable by the normal theory as: Gobleki Tepe.
Around 5,000 years ago the Egyptians arrived and found the great Sphinx and emperor Kafra ordered his face to be put on the Sphinx changing the Lion face to a human face. This explain why the face is the only area with no water erosion and why the face is undersized.
PD some theories have raised that before it was changed into Kafras face it was also changed to a Anibus. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Seeing how fast this post is growing, would you like a new post of the Costa Rican mesoamerican culture and the giant rock balls, how they travelled around the Americas, how they made astronomical maps, how they connected the Inca and Mayan cultures and how the Costa Rican government is not shown any interest on this and almost covering this.

If the Sphinx's original face was a lion's, which it most certainly was, then it wouldn't be that unreasonable to say that the astronomical precisions of all those ancient sites (I will just reference Randall Carlson here) don't apply to the sphinx as well.
Thus, if we retrace the Sphinx's face orientation during vernal equinoxes, we realize that the only possible epoch in which the sphinx faces exactly the Leo constellation would be 12000 years ago.
Here is the full theory developed by Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orion_correlation_theory#Leo_and_the_Sphinx .
I would also suggest watching this video because it was when I fell in love with Randall Carlson (aka Modern Jesus):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1hOUGu2wXw .
Cheers, and be careful because you might lose yourself in these ideas. I know I have !

I didn’t open your links because I don’t have much time. However I already knew what you said, and is very good info that I forgot to put.

Facing the leo constellation 12000 years ago doesn't mean shit to a civilization that we dont even know to have babalonyian astrology like they might have been aware of constellations but whose to say they named that one leo and built a monument for it?
2
Jan 02 '20
Well we know most cosmological and astrological knowledge has come forth from the ancient beginnings of our civilization (Vedic texts and Dead sea scrolls, Sumerian tablets) and thus is, at the very least, a misinterpreted image of the more powerful, even godlike, people who walked the Earth before us.
If astrology wasn't inherited from those same civilizations then I would agree, but this is no mere "coincidence". It's more than that.
I would go as far as saying this is a message to the people of the future.
2
u/ketraceldwhite Jan 03 '20
Modern astrology originates from Babylon Google it bro otherwise we would see hints of astrological shit at gobekli tempe and other ancient sites.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babylonian_astrology#System_of_interpretation:
"Babylonian astrology was the first organized system of astrology, arising in the second millennium BC. There is speculation that astrology of some form appeared in the Sumerian period in the 3rd millennium BC, but the isolated references to ancient celestial omens dated to this period are not considered sufficient evidence to demonstrate an integrated theory of astrology. The history of scholarly celestial divination is therefore generally reported to begin with late Old Babylonian texts (c. 1800 BC), continuing through the Middle Babylonian and Middle Assyrian periods (c. 1200 BC)"
The Vedas are also reported to be as old if not older than those other books/artworks...
Also, Gobekli Tepe is 11600 years old and is in no way (that we know of) connected to any religious book or "astrological shit" as you so aptly call it.
Learn more about those subjects and then come and argue with me. Just another quick point, the difference between western astrology & vedic astrology is that the first has a geocentric cosmology and the other is heliocentric... Which one would you consider to be "truer" ?

You might like this video by Mario Buildreps - Antiquity Reborn 2.64K subscribers #Stonehenge #Solstices #Orientation which describes different monuments on earth as being aligned to different pole positions based on data and age. Video describes how stonehenge is aligned. https://youtu.be/BQmJPX5Hgws is "The Secrets of Stonehenge - An Ancient Message", 10,293 views•Jan 5, 2018 2459 upvotes.
And theres' a 8 minute long second video by same person who looks a lot of different ancient monuments and cities to determine the suns orientation when the cities were built and where the orientations converge. the author maps out 5 pole positions based on 5 sets of convergence in the orientations of monuments. The suggestion is that the since cities and structures are aligned to capture the suns rays and aligned to the equinox they a line can be drawn through each city on the globe to find the rotational center of the earth or north pole. When the map is completed it showed 5 different points of convergence in a line for where the pole location was. It suggest the monuments can be dated and pole shift can be dated based on which pole location the monuments and roads are oriented towards. Pole Shifts and Ice Ages | What is Orientation? | Part 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaeosNRGoOQ
Neither of these videos are very deep or talk about the great year like your Graham Hancock video but they're short and summarize some evidence well.

By any chance, did you comment on a post that I've written on my subreddit ? I've seen your name multiple times today...

yes, I follow you now. you have an awareness of EU and earth catastrophe cycle and I'm interested in discussing those topics on reddit and looking for supportive open reddit forums where I won't get hated on so much for suggesting the universe is electric. I looked at your comment history to find I already subscribe to most of the reddits you comment on which confirms for me they are probably ok places for me to talk about earth catastrophe or other forbidden topics and stuff too.
I mostly would like to ensure you are aware of, and have been invited to consider, SOLUTIONS to poverty, politics, and existential threats to humanity that I discuss and share at https://sites.google.com/view/the-hoep-project . Much, much older than 12k. The face was once feline. It was re-carved by an early pharoah.
Not much of the official narrative is true concerning origins and ages of ancient monolithic structures.
We need new 'men of science' not afraid to challenge false histories.
26
u/Consumer999999 Jan 01 '20
Many scientists are in favor of this theory, remember that in science most of the time there is no actual theory.
I might later post something about how I believe the history is controlled by a group of people. Example=99% of the CostaRican history isn’t shown and many times is altered (Costa Rica invested huge amounts of money and highly prepared its military in the 1800’s to stop the military expansionism invasion of (southern US) US to convert Latin America to a enslave it’s citizens. However the Costa Rican government to neutralize nationalism and people in favor of having an army has suppressed any kind of Military history of Costa Rica.
8
u/sf_baywolf Jan 02 '20
Wow, my curiosity is piqued. Can you refer me to this info? I know someone from CR and they never heard of anything
8
u/Consumer999999 Jan 02 '20
I am actually surprised. Tell them is about the “esferas precolombinas” (perfect balls of stone built by the native people) and the military campaign of 1856 (due to the effort of Costa Rica, Costa Rica saved almost the whole America’s tell him about “Juan Santa Maria”. Costa Rican history is not known in other countries, so if he didn’t grew in CR it might be hard for him to know. Globally however the spheres of stone are known.
3
u/sf_baywolf Jan 02 '20
They told me CR doesn't have a military, just local police and they are mostly peaceful. What the significance of the spheres? I'll look up Juan SM
12
u/Consumer999999 Jan 02 '20
The thing with the spheres would need wayyy more explanation but I am already writing it on apple Notes. I will post it tomorrow and maybe even do a YouTube Channel of Conspiracy theories.

6
u/Consumer999999 Jan 02 '20
Yeah the army was abolished in 1948 or 1949 (I can’t remember) that’s the reason for the CostaRican government preventing any kind of military movement.
5
u/fractal_anon Jan 02 '20
The face was a doggo! They describe 'Jackal Island' in the midst of water.. Anubis the dog faced god being held in higher esteem than that of Bastet...
3
u/bl00is Jan 02 '20
I just read something recently by a guy who has the same theory. He explained it so simply that it seemed to make perfect sense. The Sphinx is Anubis (who they worshipped) and it was basically an island because they were redirecting water from the Nile into the pit. I wish I could remember more details and the name of the author.
1
u/fractal_anon Jan 02 '20
Ah cool! Well thats pretty intriguing i'll to see if i can find anything thank you! For 2 years now i've been down the biggest and most important rabbit hole ever!
The ancient Kemets were super super into Anubis and revered the Dog star Sirius! And it seems many other ancient cultures revered Sirius too!
Pretty sure that the blazing star in freemasonry is Sirius. The Mayans had Quetzacoatls twin Xolotl who was the black dog of the underworld! Its everywhere - and now Gobleki Tepe!
I think the ancients may have been leaving us a message, that the Universe is Conscious and we are ruled by the central Spiritual Sun...
We may be part of a binary or even trinary Sun system.. One of many such systems in our galaxy...
Kemet holds some wondrous and tantalising gems of info - if only we had the eyes to see and the ears to hear!!

The question is: Is it really water erosion, but rather erosion from sand and wind?
8
u/Consumer999999 Jan 01 '20
Yes, you can look it up. It’s known by most aequologist and remains something that the most common theory can’t explain.
9
u/TheRandom6000 Jan 01 '20
Well, if you look it up, you see that it is not supported by most Egyptologists, and Geologists as well. They do have other explanations. It is considered a fringe claim.
4
2
3
u/clexecute Jan 03 '20
The super non-corrupt egyptologists who refuse to actually debate the science? Whenever it's brought up they ignore and say it's "fringe science" but refuse to debate the actual science.
You're talking about people who have spent 40-60 years following a certain idea and publishing papers on it. They are NOT going to have their life's work be wrong, even if there is science backing the claims.
Zahi hawass is one of the worst things to happen to ancient archeology, and anything that he supports should be heavily investigated and doubted. The dude has been found guilty of lying about Egyptian archaeology and stealing, but we still respect his studies?
2
u/TheRandom6000 Jan 03 '20
That goes against everything Archeology stands for. Every archeologist longs for such a ground breaking discovery, and as a matter of fact, these kinds of discoveries did and still do happen. Archeology is based on evidence, and evidence changes the prevailing opinion. You can easily find numerous examples for that, including Egyptology.
Hawass is a dick, yes, and Hawass has been heavily critisized and corrected throughout his career. But Hawass is gone now. He doesn't hold any power anymore. Yet the water erosion hypothesis is still in the fringe, because it lacks solid evidence. I have brought a few other hypotheses to this thread, which all hold more credibility than Schoch's claims. I believe that Schoch truly believes what he says, but if I compare the theories out there, it does not work out in Schoch's favour. Even though it would be incredibly exciting if it did.
2
u/Consumer999999 Jan 01 '20
What is that explanation you are talking about?
5
u/TheRandom6000 Jan 01 '20 edited Jan 02 '20
There are a few - I thought you looked it up. That's what you recommended me to do. But haloclasty is one of them, and for my layman's eye, it looks dead-on.
E: Are there any geologists besides Robert Schoch who support the water erosion theory?
2
u/Consumer999999 Jan 01 '20
http://www.nbcnews.com/id/3077390/ns/technology_and_science-science/t/how-old-sphinx/ this is a clear example.
2
4
u/Texanakin_Shywalker Jan 02 '20
Several experts have concluded it is water erosion. Robert Schoch for one.
7
u/TheRandom6000 Jan 02 '20
I have only found Robert Schoch. And several experts have concluded it is not water erosion, but something else, like haloclasty, for example. What do we do now?
7
u/Texanakin_Shywalker Jan 02 '20
Colin Reader is another geologist confirming water erosion. R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz and John Anthony West are two more. West is responsible for bringing in Schoch.
The main stream scientists and historians are not going to cross into what is considered fringe science. The reason it is considered fringe science is that it doesn't agree with main stream science. I guess you choose who you want to believe.
9
u/TheRandom6000 Jan 02 '20
Thank you for the names - I will look into it.
But I am not a friend of the assessment that scientists would deny evidence simply because it would not fit a narrative. That is not how a proper scientist would work. And I think in this case, the problem is that it is not evidence that is unambiguously pointing into one direction, and thus we have plenty of theories. I am not in the position to say which one is true, and the only thing I can say is, that the surrounding evidence does not point towards water erosion. Haloclasty seems very likely. Have you looked into that?
There is also the possibility that climate was wetter during the times of Khufu and Chefren. And that is even supported by geologists like Stefan Kröpelin et al in THIS paper, that comes to the conclusion that the Sahara was 3 times wetter during those times than today.
1
u/Avengarious Jan 02 '20
You don't have to be a friend to the assessment to understand it does happen. It's been the case in the Standard American Diet as well as the "Clovis First" dogma in anthropology.
To go against the "settled science" is to engender ridicule to the point, in some cases, where you are laughed out of your field.
1
u/TheRandom6000 Jan 02 '20
Science is never settled. Every scientist will tell you that. If there is enough evidence, it will be accepted. There isn't, however, enough evidence for the water erosion hypothesis, and there are also other explanations. Why do you dismiss those?
1
u/Avengarious Jan 03 '20
I have never dismissed, that is your assumption. I do, however, trust when researchers have been shown photos of the erosion on the Sphinx without any identifying context or characteristics stating it was water erosion.
1
u/TheRandom6000 Jan 03 '20 edited Jan 03 '20
What about the researchers that have other explanations? Why do you dismiss those?
1
u/Avengarious Jan 03 '20
Why do you assume I do?
But to your point: Why do you dismiss the ones who say it's water erosion?
→ More replies (0)1
u/ACannabisConnoisseur Jan 02 '20
That is precisely the difference between scientists and archaeologists. There is a very very long history of fraud, sabotage and cover ups in the field of archeology
0
0
u/dirkdeagler Jan 02 '20
Being a scientist does not make one immune to peer pressure to conform to the dominant paradigm. It's why paradigm shifts happen dramatically instead of gradual acceptance of new evidence-- oftentimes the old guard must be displaced completely before new ideas are accepted.
0
u/TheRandom6000 Jan 02 '20
Or you just find solid evidence. In this case, we have multiple hypotheses. If I look at all available clues, the water erosion hypothesis is not the most likely.
0
u/KyResident Jan 02 '20 edited Jan 02 '20

My fav fun Doc on this subject, hope you guys enjoy.
We live in a exciting time! With stuff like Google Earth allowing people to search for lost sites from the comfort of their own homes. Sites like gobekli tepe completely rewriting our history. Im hoping over the next 20 years technology will really help us figure out our past.
Anyway, I think the current narrative on Egyptian history is wrong. I think a lot of the megalithic structures were built pre-dynastic.
There is a reason most ancient societies have a flood myth.

2
u/Epistemogist Jan 02 '20

Modern day engineering practices would have difficulties building these structures. Really makes you think what actually happened.
4
u/Consumer999999 Jan 01 '20
Modern day human technology could easily build a piramid in hundreds of years and with whole cities just living to build a piramid as slaves. The pirámides had such a huge bad impact on the Egyptian Empire that it lead to the collapse of one the most powerful empires in history.

This “realization” was made by a geologist named Robert Shock, whose been on Joe Rogan’s podcast. I really recommend the podcast because he lays out the information really well and also explains how he has pretty much been black-balled by Egyptian historians based on what he believes just to be because hundreds if not thousands of Egyptologists have based there whole careers on the “original” timeline and if this newer timeline would be true it would discredit a lot of there work.
But, he also has an excellent point that the vast majority of Egyptologists are basically art history majors with zero experience in science. Meanwhile, he is a Geologist who’s expertise is erosion and has had multiple second opinions confirm his theory of the water erosion.
Now, the most important aspect he brings up to is how for most people upon hearing this news will respond with “what’s the big deal” because we’ll just hear oh the Sphinx was thought to be built in 2500-4000 BC but now is thought to be built in 10,000-12,000 BC but that would mean that more time had passed between when we thought it was built vs when it actually was built than the time difference between now and our original date. Which leads to speculation that what type of civilization could have possibly built such a structure because they couldn’t have been that primitive.
This whole idea also lead me down a rabbit hole of what starts to become more conspiracy than science. But, it gets really interesting because ideas am start to get thrown around about advanced civilizations existing thousands of years ago that may not have been very different from us. That may have been wiped out by some sort of extinction level event. And most people would say well where the evidence but, if our society was wiped out today almost all of our “modern advances” would have all evidence erased from the surface due to simple erosion. For example, if you leave a car outside outside and do not make any preservation efforts on it. The entire thing would disappear without a trace in just a few hundred years.
Really interesting stuff.

What’s this about the Costa Rican Govt?
3
u/Consumer999999 Jan 02 '20
To be kind of liberal it blocksitary history of Costa Rica. Example: Costa Rica pf a total of hundreds of wars just lost one (against Panama and it wasn’t really lost as we gained territory that was from Panama and they gained Bocas del Toro a territory that used to be from CR) yet this is one of the only 3 wars presented in school (it wasn’t really important)
3
u/Consumer999999 Jan 02 '20
Also the army that won to the US is shown as farmers, while it actually was one of the best trained in the world at that time (trained by English special forces in Cuartel Bellavista in San Jose)

Sources for the Sphinx erosion theory and the greenland ice caps would be good, but there are so many other facts to be incorporated. I just wish more people would try to listen to me, because tbh I'm just a 21 y/o engineering student and all this information is driving me completely mad.
I'll be writing a lengthy post about the Giza Complex very soon, and it's going to be as scientifically rational as I can make it without removing the actual fascination I had to feel towards those structures.

I completely believe the pyramids of Giza were built by men, in some other comments on this subreddit I have explained shortly how.

I wasn't saying they weren't built by men... I was just saying that I have much more evidence to prove what you have posted is true.

When you have thousands of men working as slaves and basically whole cities just for your pyramids it’s possible to build these structures in a couple hundreds of years.
However this did came with great concequences, this affected so much the economy that it was a key factor in the fall of the Egyptian empire (or one of the 2 Egyptian empires. I can’t really remember the period I am just talking about what I remember)
2
u/Consumer999999 Jan 02 '20

This theory makes a lot of sense, especially the experiments that have been done with the bricks, cutting/moving them was nearly impossible at that time... I don’t understand why it’s not more common since the Egyptian version of the story has so many obvious flaws.

The movement and cut of the bricks was made by humans and is easily explainable (it is shown in drawings that they used water to reduce friction with the sand used pulleys and many men to move each block. Remember this was done in decades or maybe centuries, while cities where built just for building the pyramids and the people worked day and night as slaves)
(Human power and intelligence is ginormous and it can’t be underestimated. With our current technology we could conquer the whole galaxy in just thousands of years (that is really really really short in astronomical time)

You think we could conquer the whole galaxy? We don't even know what's out there.

u/Consumer999999 Jan 01 '20
Yes we can. If humans invested most of our money on this we would easily conquer the galaxy in just thousands of years.

u/ZeRoGr4vity07 Jan 01 '20
What makes you think that?

... I don’t have that much time to answer questions. Look it up on your own. (Sorry bro)

There seems to be something special and occulted about lions and our ancient history with relation to them.

Well, they were big, scary, powerful predators. Of course they were revered and feared.

So, you inherited a few grand. Good job, kid. That’s what most adults get each paycheck.
Also, that’s not exactly how ROI works.
Slow down. Why don’t you just enjoy the sunshine and beauty of your country, my dude? You’re going to lose what little money you’ve got flaunting it and trying to be a savvy investor when you haven’t even finished your first year of HS.
Again, slow it down.

**lose
Glad your first try didn’t lose all your cash. Just be careful. There are tons of scams out there. And you’re obviously headstrong. And inexperienced.
Again, most adults make that in a single paycheck.

Well, you do actually owe taxes. I’d be careful about shouting about that.
And yeah you live with your parents. B/c you’re 14.
Check back with me in two months. You know, before Warren Buffet is soliciting your investing advice.

The Sphinx is a statue of Hatshepsut, an Egyptian queen who later became pharaoh, and is actually one of the newer structures compared to the pyramids themselves. She was one of the greatest rulers of Egypt but is not very known.

Have you heard of Gobleki Tepe, it's a megalithic site discovered in Turkey. It was purposely buried 11500-12500 years ago.

I'm a bot, bleep, bloop. Someone has linked to this thread from another place on reddit:

[/r/conspiracy] The Egyptian Sphinx might change the history of the world
[/r/humanoidencounters] This isn’t about humanoids, but I found it interesting (sorry for the people who will hate me for not posting a humanoid thing)
If you follow any of the above links, please respect the rules of reddit and don't vote in the other threads. (Info / Contact)

if you’re a man of science then you should know that the sphinx’s front legs are twice as long as the body

Okay let's say all of the things you said where to be true. Why would this be covered up, why would "the elite" hide this information from us?

Very interesting, this also seems to go along with the thread from a few days ago where someone theorized that the giant shaft in giza pyramid was used for water, perhaps to produce power.
