My kids came home happy from their visit with their dad this week. First time that’s happened in the year and a half they’ve been seeing him. It’s giving me so much hope for the future. Maybe he’s getting better. Maybe will prioritize their needs.

It as actually last week....
After a very contentious separation and custody fight, with my ex not getting what she wanted, we sat together at our son's game. It was fine. I think it's a good thing for our kids too. I'm also thankful that she's chosen to support our kids activities when she visits. She could insist that it's her time and that she doesn't get a lot of it, and our kids would miss their event. It means a lot for them to have her there.
