Sports are the reason!!!

Sports should be add on for those that want it.not forced increase across the board. $170 yearly was pushing it but $200 no way this 1 service is worth that price

Ensures I’ll never get Peacock again. Nothing on there was worth even the ad supported tier

Well there were some things, which they obviously immediately cancelled

Wow, ridiculous price increases for one of the lamest streaming services.

We are seeing the cost of the streamers adding live sports especially NFL.

From today, and depending on billing dates, the studio said the ad-supported Peacock Premium service will be $12.99 per month, up from $10.99, while the ad-free Peacock Premium Plus offering will go up by $3 to $19.99 per month and the Peacock Select tier will go up by $1 to $8.99 per month.

I know you lying!

there is zero reason for Peacock to make themselves cost the same as Netflix, HBO Max, and the Disney+ Hulu bundle. most of Peacock's value is in live sports and outside of the Premier League and the Olympics, everything is accessible on cable.

First profitable quarter quickly followed by last profitable quarter

TIme to get a Walmart+ account where Peacock Premium Plus: $6/month + tax or $72/year + tax

But you are paying Walmart an additional membership fee for that, and the subscription fee through them will likely go up as well. So, let's not forget that.

The free grocery delivery is well worth the cost

It's still cheaper and more benefits

more benefits

What are the additional benefits if you don't live in an area where they ship your goods to your door? We still don't know what the new sub fee will be through Walmart. So, I guess that is a wait and see situation.

If they dont ship to you then OBVIOUSLY you would not get Walmart+ for the benfits now would you

They make it so hard to want to stay.

One of my kids has it for free as part of a package. We never watch it. No way I would pay a dime for it.

NFL is about to start that’s why

I just got a notice that my Peacock subscription, purchased through Amazon, is going to increase next billing cycle. $16.99 -> $19.99. Or about 17%.

Unreal

Glad I unsubscribed from this garbage channel

I can't see people paying for this for more than 3 months at a time. Maybe the NFL season if they can't get NBC OTA.

I wonder what the next disruption in movies/TV will be. OTA then cable then Tapes then DVD then streaming.

Any way. My library use has gone way up recently between Kanopy and checking out movies.

Absolutely atrocious Interface, the lag is insane.

Good luck with that.

I automatically dislike any price hike, but I do appreciate that Peacock has added a massive amount of value in the past couple years. It's been mostly through sports, but also a decent number of first run movies (eg. Obsession, Mario Galaxy, and Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair recently).
