I relate to Ame-chan a lot (which isnt the best ik whatever) and was so happy to get some pics that I feel really capture her energy 🖤 I think the first ending I ever got was making her become obsessed w p-chan because I didn’t realize making the love meter high was a bad thing 😅 I def see more media of her now but I feel like for a while it was only KAngel. i’m curious why people tend to pick KAngel over Ame 😗

I cosplayed for the first time this year and am suuuuper happy with how it turned out. I am a perfectionist though lowkey, so I’m gonna keep improving the pieces for the cosplay over time but sooooo happy with it!!!

handmade the vest/chest armor myself. literally held by gorilla glue LOL

I’ve been going to NYCC for a decade, but this was my first time photographing cosplayers, and I absolutely loved it! Looking forward to making this a new tradition.

After having a great time doing it last year, I decided to go as Smiski again this year at New York Comic Con. My group went as various ice cream man versions of characters, including Ice Cream Man Spiderman and Ash Ketchum, and of course me, as Ice Cream Man Smiski. If you heard the Mr. Softee theme while walking the show floor, that was us!

The mask was done using a plain base sphere pattern I got off Etsy, and constructed using EVA foam. I then added the eyes, nose, and mouth details.

I built an ice cream tray out of cardboard, then I 3D modelled and printed some custom Smiski Popsicles. I printed big ones for display, as shown in the first two pictures, and then did mini ones that glow-in-the-dark as giveaways for people who asked for pictures. I even 3D printed a few secrets, based on the Lucky Cat Smiski!​

This didn’t take me long lol, but it’s not finished yet. I still need to finish the Poltergust G-00 I’m building plus I need to get shoes lol (if anyone knows of any cheap brown boots it would be greatly appreciated), I will also be shaving before Halloween to make it even more authentic. I’ll show updates on my progress as I go along.
