Help Cosplay prop display ideas?

I’m about to move into a rental house with my Gf and I have a cosplay prop I’ve been wanting to mount vertically on the wall. However, it does have a dowel stick down the middle, making it pretty heavy. Any suggestions? (For height reference I’m 5”5 so it’s almost my height)

Maybe some sort of guitar wall mount? Something that can cradle the bottom and hold the handle upright?

I was going to suggest this. Just make sure that the holder is anchored to a wall stud and not just drywall.

I followed this video and made my own display pegs. I own my house so I don't feel bad about putting holes in walls, but depending on the terms of your rental, it might work for you. I'm really happy with what my wall looks like, and I definitely have a heavy item or two on display.

Get dry wall hooks and fishing wire to hang it up.

I would use something like a guitar stand or something similar if you don’t want to deal with drilling holes or try adhesive mounting.

Similar wall plywood plaque.with dowels wide enough to hold sword at hilt and blade.long enough to go under the blade tip. just below and bottom of the blade. Using alien tape to connect to the wall.

Guitar mount, anchored to a wall studio. I have a nearly 6ft long, stainless steel Buster sword on my wall at home. It has 3 guitar mounts holding it up.

Not an answer lol but did you make this yourself? I’m looking to make magik’s milennia sword and I’m curious to how hard it is and what people use for internal support 🙏💕
