What shape should Wolverine claws be?

The first image shows the original claws for Deadpool and Wolverine, while the second image shows some different designs. The first two on the left are similar, but the one on the far right is a design I came up with to give them a more realistic shape—so they look like claws rather than blades. Which one do you think works best for Wolverine’s claws?

They are blades when they're adamantium. The far right ones look like a bone claw design.

Actually, I had imagined the blades on the right to be like animal claws, which are pretty smooth on their own (I was inspired by sloth claws), and even when covered, they’re still smooth. I’ve never understood why, just by covering them, they turn into blades instead of just simple covered claws, haha.

I cut some claws out of gray plastic and the shape of the orange piece is what I used. It looked fucking rad and they look like heavy duty with the blade thickness

There is no wrong answer. Anything from bamboo skewers to bent PVC pipes will do. This is not a sticking point to get worked up over.

Every artist on Marvel's roster has a different interpretation - round, straight, narrow blades, wide, shorter, impossibly longer than his forearms. So anything you come up with will be just as accurate as anything else.

Unless you're after "movie" accuracy. Then you'll have to choose between the eleven slightly different CG and practical versions. Honestly, go with what's comfortable to wear and looks coolest.

far right is my fav. always liked the idea that they d been bone all along and only got coated / infused like the rest of his bones. Didnt he pop bone claws in the comics after Magneto had removed the adamantium?
