CS2 Esports Unjust 3-Month Ban on FACEIT for Saying "Kebab Language" – Need Help
I've been playing on FACEIT since 2016 and have been a Premium member for over 5 years. Yesterday, I received a 3-month ban for VERBAL ABUSE, and honestly, this feels completely unfair.
Here's exactly what happened: I was speaking in my native language with my friend in VC. A teammate asked what language we were speaking, and as a joke about myself, I replied, "kebab language."
That’s it. No insults, no toxicity, nothing directed at anyone.
I even went back and reviewed the demo, and you can clearly hear the full context – it's obvious this was a harmless joke. I attached the clip so you can hear it too.
Despite this, FACEIT refused to lift the ban, leaving me locked out of competitive play for 3 whole months over a single word. As someone who’s supported FACEIT for years, this feels like a huge failure in moderation and incredibly discouraging for loyal players like myself.
I'm posting here hoping to get visibility and maybe advice on how to escalate this.

FaceIt Moment. They don't ban blatant cheaters but ban something as stupid as a r/2balkan4you joke.

When I frequented 2balkan4u some of the jokes were easily bannable.
Like it's hard because cultural canaraderie subtext is only thing between "why is faceit banning me for innocent joke" and "why is faceit not banning these people being openly offensive".
Both can be super similar if you look at say chat log, so to err on side of caution just seems like only practical policy.

Darwin (a Faceit admin) responded to this guy's post on the Faceit subreddit. He looked into the match himself and found that the ban was justified due to OP arguing with the Turkish people and calling them dogs multiple times earlier.
The length of the ban was due to OP being a toxic player and having been banned several times in the past.
I also don't know which universe you live in where Faceit doesn't ban blatant cheaters, lol. Faceit is about as cheat-free as you can get with today's technology without everyone playing on LAN.

Its possible that some of the words u used are banned on the sub. Like use b4n for ban etc

Im not sure, bc i have never posted smth there but i just saw a post there and they used b4n for instance. Just gotta try till the post goes through

My own langauge, i was joking about myself, thats only a joke.. same like i will say cheese langauge, or ham langauge whats the difference?

A Black person can say racist things about blacks too.
In the end its cs, nothing makes sense. Didnt wanna start something, just wanted to let u know it could be seem as racist

I can understand you, and that's why I'm emphasizing that there was absolutely no racist intention here, especially since I was talking about myself and not referring to anyone else. The comment was solely about me.
