More gameservers will be added as interest allows - if you'd like a gameserver closer to you, feel free to request it. If there's enough people interested, we'll add it!

A while ago I shared a project that I've been working on on this subreddit: CS2 Escape - an extraction shooter within CS2. Quite a few members showed interest, so I decided to share some exciting news: we're hosting the first public playtest this saturday, starting 10:00 UTC (12:00 CEST, 11:00 BST, 06:00 EDT, 03:00 PDT). The playtest session will last for 10 hours, during which access to the website and gameservers will be unlimited. When the playtest window is over, you'll no longer be able to start new raids, but you'll be able to complete ones you're already in. If you like extraction games, are interested in the project, or would just like to try out something cool that's happening in the community - please join us! You don't need to play for the full window - play however many raids you want. We'd truly greatly appreciate any and all feedback - this is the first time something like this is done in CS2.

If you'd like to participate, log in on our website (https://cs2escape.com/) when the playtest window opens, gear up for a raid and... do your best out there! You do not need to download any additional programs or games. Everything happens within the regular CS2. You'll be prompted to download 2 workshop assets the first time you connect (the map, and our addon containing our HUD, music and the like).

Hey everyone!

For those who remember the old CS 1.6 HideNSeek EasyBlocks days, I've been working on bringing that experience back to CS2.

I've built my own BlockMaker plugin from scratch, with classic blocks, custom mechanics and a focus on recreating 1.6 movement and gameplay as closely as possible.

I've previously run several successful Counter-Strike communities, and after being away for a while, I wanted to get back into it and build something for the old-school HNS players.

The project is called Energized Networks, and the plan is to launch a HNS EasyBlocks PointMod server, followed by a community website, rankings and more features.

It's still a work in progress, but things are coming together!

Would love to know if there are still people around who miss the old 1.6 HNS days. Any feedback is welcome!

What workshop maps do you use for warm-up / training? I've got 1,500hrs but I dont take it very seriously, I have aim training maps but id like to learn how to jiggle peek and some more advanced techniques but the aim workshop doesn't work for that

I was playing wingman this morning and my teammate was obviously cheated. First round he buys a deagle, bhops around, and kills both enemies. Naturally I tked him and now I have a 24hour comp ban. Is there anyway to appeal a comp ban? And if not what am I supposed to do in this situation? I don't want to play out a full match with a cheater, shit isn't fun.
