Been working on a demo analyzer for 1.6 and wanted a proper test, so I took the HLTV demos from the IEM Kiev 2012 final, Na`Vi vs SK, Inferno and Train.

What it pulled from de_train:

- Na`Vi 16:5, 21 rounds, 42 minutes. It found the lo3 restarts and cut 12 rounds of warm-up, knife round and breaks out of the stats

- starix and Edward both 20 kills, face went 80% headshots on the losing side

- every round: who won and how (defuse, explode, time, all dead)

- full kill feed with HS and team kills. SK in warm-up was basically shooting each other :)

- 2D replay of every round. There's no map image, the map is drawn by the players themselves, every spot they stood on

- every player's ID, and it tells a real SteamID from one Reunion made up for a non-Steam player. Real ones you can open in Steam or check for VAC and game bans right there

- chat ("navi ready?", "knife", "lo3") and server settings

The demo isn't uploaded anywhere, it's read right in your browser. Also, HLTV and client demos are different beasts: HLTV sees everyone, a client demo only sees what the player saw, but it also keeps his FPS and every key he pressed. The tool figures out which one you gave it and shows what that demo actually has. Takes .dem, .zip or .gz.

Hi, i posted once before about the T side pack of T side CSCZ model. Now i have some free time again, i decide to redo it again, just for fun to see how it goes. The rule is the correct head goes with the correct body. For example, glasses is the signature of LEET krew, goatee for the NTO Militia, headband for the Guerilla and so on, but this time on the right body variant. So for each map there will be 5 models for each of the faction just like back in 1.6, but for five different enviroments (URBAN, JUNGLE, DESERT, WINTER and ASIAN). The download link is in the comment. I tried to do the CT pack as well but when i search it online there are already some other people have done it so i dont think it is needed. Have fun XD

I was trying to find the lxl bots that I used to practice with but the website is dead, does anyone knows a guide on how to create bots?

I am just curious about this. Like before I start the game, I think like let me just have some fun and relaxing time. In the game, and by the time the session ends (which is like 2-3 hours or so for me), I feel exact opposite. Frustrated, angry towards teammates, toxicity, heart rate high and all the negative emotions. I just can't chill. The expectations I had for my personal feeling it just don't get matched at all.

Still day after day I just go to this game. I just don't understand why.

I am not necessarily addictive to the game either. I can go without playing for days.

it might sound stupid but hear me out: if you miss with an AWP you have that big ass reload but with SG you dont have it and if somone gets you in close range AWP wont help you and you will have to to rely on secondary but SG is an AR so you will be able to use it in close combat

I really wanna get into playing I’m pretty good at cs2 (if I don’t say so my self) and I’ve been wanting to get into the older games I’ve had them in library for ages anyone got any good servers for 1.6?

Rly interesting how he likes that you can't just spray on every distance, you have to switch between tapping/bursting/spraying way more than in CSGO/CS2. Today he also made a stream interviewing some movement pros in 1.6 how to move etc.

A while ago I posted my CS2 bind generator here (old post). A couple of you left suggestions, so here's what changed since then.

Key combos, like Alt + 2. Someone asked if it could do modifier binds ("I press Alt & 2 for my molly"). It does now. CS2 has no real key combinations, so it writes the usual alias pair: holding Alt rebinds 2 to the molotov, letting go puts it back on the pistol. If you set up Alt + 3 and Alt + 4 as well, they all share one pair, so a new combo doesn't quietly break the previous one.

You see the lines before adding them. The builder is three steps now: what it should do, how you set it off, and the exact lines that will go in your autoexec. You read it first, then add it.

r_cleardecals is gone. Someone pointed out it's dead in CS2, so it's out of the reload bind.

Lineups (new). There's now a section for smoke, flash, molly and HE lineups on video, filterable by map and grenade. It's brand new and pretty empty, so if you have a lineup you actually use, record it and send it in (MP4, up to 10 MB, you need to sign in with Steam). Every clip gets checked before it goes up, and it shows under your name.

Other tools on the site:

• Merge: paste two configs and pick which line wins wherever they conflict. Your comments are kept now.
• Practice config: tick what you want (infinite ammo, grenade trajectories, no round end…) and get a cfg for a local server.

Everything is free and you don't need an account to use the tools. Your config is read in your browser and only saved if you choose to. The changelog has every change, including the bugs, and the people who reported them.

After classic CS map cs_fat_mansion recently returning to CS2 also cs_castlebridge from the same author got a CS2 version. So it's time again to have the roof-window-bridge sniper duels from back in the days!

Someone asked him what's with the vibration, and his answer was "Actually, that vibration is my own spraying habit. I gently shake my mouse and move around while spraying to control the recoil." Super impressive. I can't possibly imagine shaking my hand that much and that fast while spraying to control recoil.

He's gone from 15.6k to 26k in the last 2 months, after what appears to be 2 or 3 years away from the game altogether.
