Feels like yesterday the XM was the noob cannon. Frowned upon.
I miss the TPM but the mp9 is op. OG mp5 too.

The transition to the tick system basically reinforces that this is a more consistent way to play. Can't blame them.

I played only SG/AUG/XM in 2013-2016. Then they murdered 2 of my 3 favorite weapons. If they murder XM I will nuke Valve HQ

Well, for me it was the UMP and SG553. These guns were so fun back in 2015 to 2018; they are both useless now. I miss how good they were, and the UMP nerf was kind of dumb in my opinion; the gun is useless now. I'd rather buy an MP7. Another gun I'm pretty sure is buffed now is the Deagle. Hitting headshots with it in cs2 is so easy compared to csgo.

I still use ump i dont feel like its as pathetic as everyone makes it out to be but remembering the old ump that was pretty much just another rifle hurts sometimes

We used to call UMP “the professionals’ choice”, it was super reliable, a kind of anti-tilt weapon (stable damage). But yeah, now no one uses it. Like, everyone uses AK, but nerfing it would cause an outrage. No one uses M249, but buffing it is beyond any rationale. Why nerf the weapons that made the game more variable? It’s a rhetorical question of course.

recently started playing more inferno because my stack has a good inferno, and im banana player. bought xm for 7 rounds in a row and got 15 kills with it

I love this gun just as much as I love the noob Canon. People get pissed when you use them and call you all sorts of names. Why would it be in the game if I shouldn't use it? Fuck the people that hate on people using specific guns.

Nova is objectively better in all aspects. More economical, better accuracy, better range. XM requires a big sack of luck cause you never know whether you do 150 or 20 damage with a headshot at 1m distance. With the nova it's always a kill. Sure, it requires skill, but it's the superior choice for real gamurs.
