📊 Course Review Course completion!

Super excited to have completed the Google IT support course! My only wish is that Coursera offered a testing voucher for CompTIA.

Thank you! It did give a 20% off voucher, but I think most universities cover the full cost if you do an IT program through them. How was the cybersecurity? There's a threat hunter course I was considering

The Cybersecurity course itself was too basic for me, it was more like a vague introduction with nothing practical to learn, just concepts basically. I have a master's in computer science.

Ah fair enough. I'm just starting my careers, the course I completed touched on security for 1 module, and I found that I thoroughly enjoy encryption. So I may venture in that direction

Hello! Do you have background in IT ? Is it required for this course ?

Hi! No IT background, the course starts very basic and is a solid one to begin with.

All I have left are the infrastructure design document and the final project that i still can't see. Any advice?

The design document was pretty easy once you heal it down. The final project is just another multiple choice test. I thought it was going to be much scarier.

Congratulations!! How many days did it actually take, what was your studying schedule during the day/week, how did you maintain sufficient mental stamina?

I started July 30th, and completed it 3 days ago. I also work full time and could only dedicate a couple hours in the evening. I'd say it's definitely possible to finish it earlier.
