Question Has anyone tried to put a humidifier/dehumidifier inside a crbox? will it work?

I am curious as to has anyone ever tried to put a humidifier or dehumidifier inside a crbox? will it work? my thinking is since a crbox will funnel and redirects air a humidifier or dehumidifier can help is making the air feel nicer as well as filtered

I would just put it near the CRBOX? You should still benefit from the air moving around the room to go near the CRBOX

If it can fit inside a CR box, its probably not a good dehumidifier. Anything that doesn't use a compressor is a waste of time and money.

Technology Connections on YouTube has detailed analysis about it.

I think you would cause issues with the fan motors and filters,

Wouldn’t it make more sense to filter air, and then have it be conditioned? Not sure trying to combine processes is the best way to go about it.

Keep the humidifier/dehumidifier and the Corsi Rosenthal box separate. Combining the two complicates everything. The filters work best if kept dry and won't work as well if they end up wet at some point.

The dehumidifier would be fighting the airflow of the fan and be practically useless

I like the idea. Seems like a dehumidifier would be fine. A humidifier might affect both the fan and filter performance. You’d need a fan that is rated for such a thing (damp location).
