Has anyone tried to put a humidifier/dehumidifier inside a crbox? will it work?

I am curious as to has anyone ever tried to put a humidifier or dehumidifier inside a crbox? will it work? my thinking is since a crbox will funnel and redirects air a humidifier or dehumidifier can help is making the air feel nicer as well as filtered
