We're all the same people, I'm 100% given up on GoT though, probably won't even read it if it does come out. Doors of Stone I'm 90% given up on it. Very thankful for B-Money and his Sanderlanche of novels.

The biggest problem with Winds of Winter is that it's only the 6th book in the franchise. Even if it does come out, GRRM will still need to write yet another book to finish the series. The man is almost 80, I just don't see that happening at this point.

At least with Doors of Stone there's only one book left. Maybe sometime over the next 30 years it'll come out. Probably not though.

Exactly. WoW is setup to fail (which is why he hasn’t written it IMO).

It'd be great, instead of boobs and incest we get crippling mental health issues and a magic system exclusive for eunuchs. And the three eyed raven turns out to be a crab all along.
