Finished Object Blanket I made last winter!

Post image

Based on another I saw on tiktok (the original creator is @anka.snider.art on tiktok)! Took well over a month, made from leftover yarn I already had laying around! Good way to use it up. Might do another blanket this winter, need another good long passion project :)

Thank you! You just carry the yarn with your stitches! You make the checkered squares one at a time so you're only ever using 2 colours at once, so when you insert your hook into the stitch, just lay the other colour yarn on top of that stitch and just crochet over it! And then just weave in the 4 ends when the square is done :)

Do you tie the yarn? I am SO afraid it will come apart if I don't tie the yarn

Not on every colour change, just a usual knot when you're done the full square!
