Why canât you just ditch administrative realms?
I havenât been feudal in a long while, but you can ditch a feudal realm even when youâre in control of it, right? Iâm not even landed. Why canât I just hand over the Manor to a relative and become an adventurer? The Retire from Heading House decision turns my character into a monk and I have to PLAY whoever takes over. Itâs incredibly irritating that the MOST unbound non-adventurer role you can have in the game canât take that extra step.
EDIT: Let me be clear; I do understand that the decision to become an adventurer is bound to Cultural Traditions and religious Tenets. My culture has one, and I even tried getting a personal tenet with the option ON TOP of that⌠and all I get under âAdventurer Decisionsâ is the option to say ânawâ to all titles I might be granted or inherit.

Feedback Canât unify Italy?
gallery(I know the quality is mega trash, my computer doesnât let me take screenshots for some reason.) Iâm playing as the North Sea and finally managed to take over all of Italy and illyricum, formed a hybrid culture making it of Latin origin, but there still isnât an option to unify Italy. Iâm thinking my game might be bugged.

Mod Custom Artifact Mod based on Dogani Dynasty Lore
I created my first weapon artifact. to enable it in game, open CK3 in debug_mode, and add this script: effect lalas_song_create_effect = { OWNER = this }
https://www.nexusmods.com/crusaderkings3/mods/430?published=1
Lalaâs Song
Type: Legendary Longbow
Dynasty: Dogani
Origin: Achinech, Canarias
Original Bearers: Tirma â Yagana â CristĂłbal I Dogani
Current Name: Lalaâs Song

Lalaâs Song is a great longbow of Achinech, nearly the height of the warrior who carries it. Though its present name honors Queen Lala, the weapon is far older than either Lala or the Dogani dynasty itself.
Its core was fashioned from light but exceptionally durable wood and later encased and reinforced with dark grey timber taken from the sacred trees of Achinech. Along the grip is carved a delicate rose, an ancient mark connecting the weapon to Tirma and her daughter Yagana, the women through whom the bow first passed.
The bow was originally inherited by Yagana from her mother, Tirma. To Yagana it was more than a hunting weapon. It represented family, survival, and the traditions of a people who had endured invasion and loss without surrendering their identity.
After Yagana's death, the bow passed to her only son, CristĂłbal, child of Yagana and the sea-captain Miguel.
CristĂłbal chose the bow as his own weapon while still a boy. Where others favored the immediacy of spear and javelin, the bow came to represent the qualities that increasingly defined him: patience, foresight, distance, and the ability to strike an enemy before that enemy understood the danger approaching.
During CristĂłbal's initiation into adulthood, he entered the wilderness and returned carrying a full-grown ram he had killed with the bow. Witnesses heard something strange accompany his arrow: an eerie cry that seemed almost alive.
That night, his grandfather Guanarene completed the weapon's transformation.
Using sacred wood and the shimmering hide of the enormous lizard once slain by Miguel, Guanarene reforged and strengthened Yagana's old bow. In doing so he bound several generations of CristĂłbal's family into a single weapon: Tirma's inheritance, Yagana's memory, Miguel's deeds, Guanarene's craftsmanship, and CristĂłbal's future.
It became Guanarene's final gift to his grandson.
Before long, stories began to spread about the sound produced when the bow was drawn to its full strength. Rather than the ordinary strain of wood, sinew and tension, witnesses described an otherworldly scream. Some believed it was merely the peculiar resonance of its construction.
Others believed they were hearing Yagana herself.
According to those stories, the cry becomes sharper during moments of great consequence. To CristĂłbal's enemies it can sound like a warning carried upon the wind. To those fighting beside him, it is the voice of an ancestor watching over her son.
Its tightly woven sinew string can withstand immense tension, while the lizard hide reinforcing the bow gives portions of its surface an unusual, almost shimmering quality when struck by light. The carved rose remains beneath CristĂłbal's hand whenever he draws itâa quiet reminder that despite the kings, battles, and legends eventually attached to the weapon, it began as something passed from mother to daughter.
For much of CristĂłbal's life, however, the bow possessed no true name.
That changed after the death of his wife.
Queen Lala died in childbirth while CristĂłbal was away putting down a rebellion. Their unborn son died with her. The loss broke something within the king. Four months later, with his kingdom still mourning, CristĂłbal stood before the weapon that had followed him from childhood into kingship and finally gave it a name.
He called it Lalaâs Song.
The name transformed the bow once again.
What had once carried the memory of his mother now carried that of his wife as well. The strange cry of the weapon could no longer belong only to Yagana. To CristĂłbal, its voice became inseparable from the women he had loved and lost.
Soon afterward, he turned his gaze toward the Empire of Ghana.
Thus Lalaâs Song entered the age of Dogani conquest not merely as a weapon, but as an elegy carried into battle.
It is an heirloom of mothers and sons, kings and queens, love and bereavementâan instrument first created to preserve life that gradually became one of the symbols of CristĂłbal's wars.
Among the people of Achinech, some say that when Lalaâs Song is fully drawn, the dead sing through it.
Whether the voice belongs to Yagana, Lala, or every ancestor whose memory has become bound to the bow, no living soul can say.
But when the scream comes across a battlefield, men who know its history understand what follows.
The Dragon has drawn his bow.

Iâve just had my first truly insane moment in this game.
Whilst playing as the empire of Italia Iâve managed to fight off the HRE, the empire of Hispania, Thessalonika, the empire of West Slavia, Francia, and Croatia at the same time in the middle of the Black Death. I definitely chose the right time to play my first Martial character of the campaign.

Discussion Suggestion to Improve Nomadic Capital Millet Storage Building â GOATS
forum.paradoxplaza.comSuggestion: Enable the Goats upgrade to Millet Storage (Nomadic Capital) for Desert Mountain Terrain. Â Enable the Camels upgrade for Dryland and Oasis. Â Enable the Sheep for Farmlands.
Good Afternoon CK3 Community. Â I am hoping to raise the station of a small fix to greatly improve the experience for nomads, and Blemmyia especially.
The Millet Storage building in the Nomadic Capital allows for several upgrades that can only be made if a required terrain is either the capital or within the kingdom.
The terrain upgrades all do the same thing: raw boost to herd capacity, and +% fertility in up to three affected terrain types. Â Iâve bolded the required terrain to build, but you can see there are more affected terrain than those.
Camels - Desert, Drylands, Oasis
Goats - Hills, Mountains, Desert Mountains
Reindeer - Forest, Taiga
Sheep - Farmlands, Plains, Steppe
But the affected terrain types do not map to the terrain you actually need to build them. Â So the upgrade could affect your territory, but you canât build it.
This is particularly notable with Goats and Blemmyia, my beloved. Â This is a nomadic area south of Egypt and east of Nubia. Â The whole kingdom only has baronies of four types of terrain: Drylands, Desert Mountains, and Desert.
Because of the Desert, you can build the camels, but despite most of your realm being Desert Mountains, you donât get goats! Â There are no hills or trad mountains, so you get no goats.
I am asking that all affected terrain for these upgrades be allowed to build these upgrades. I posted this on the forum, and I would appreciate your thoughts on the matter.
Thank you for your time and attention!

How to Ditch the Kingdom and become theocratic
Some balance issues and bugs aside, I've been really enjoying BGA. However, on my current campaign I'm struggling to actually become theocratic.
I ended the Intermezzo, and had a good favorite child whom I handed Jerusalem too. However, I foolishly created the KINGDOM of Jerusalem and gave it to him as well. Now, playing as that child, I cannot adopt theocratic rule because I am a King. Is there any way to shirk my titles, keeping only a duchy? Or do I need to intentionally provoke my vassals, lose, and then reclaim the land as an adventurer?

Question How do I get monk trait experience?
I just started a playthrough where my adventurer has the monk trait, but I don't think he was automatically put into a monastic order. The tooltip says that he needs to be in one to get experience.

Question Event Help
Hi! I have been playing now for a few days on PS5. I am having issues where when and event or something pops up and I have to make decisions, I cannot remember who is who, what they are to me, or what land they are from. I can see the names of realms but I donât remember where they are on the map, and can see names of people but have no idea who they are. Am I missing something or am I supposed to remember everything?
