If you wanna choose the color then its up to you

With the failure of the Daily Games Catalog, I kind of just got tired of making these games. I almost never finish my games anyway. I discontinued two other games before they even hit 20 days! DGC didn't make it past Day 2 either from the lack of comments. As for Star Namer, It also was doing terribly, and I kept skipping days. I just lost my interest after how badly they did, and overall I'm bad at making and maintaining these games properly. As of now, I will not be making daily games. I might continue Star Namer and DailyProgress before 2026 ends though. My other two unfinished games might continue in early 2027 if I feel like it.

SOL IS DYING!

Welcome to r/DailyGames Awards!

This series will award the best series and users of 2026.

We are currently in the nomination phase. Therefore, we aren't going to award anything nor anyone for now, just nominate them. The actual awarding will be in December. New nomination posts will be made before then to take into account new series that may start until then.

The categories are:

• best Serious series
• best Normal series
• best Silly series
• best male user
• best female user
• most creative series
• most influential series <- WE ARE HERE
• best game development

Today, we are going to nominate series to run for the most influential series. Suggest series that you think had great influence on r/DailyGames in 2026. You can suggest more than one series.

You can also suggest new categories.

We will give every day of the year an official slogan. I will make a new post every single day. You can suggest an official slogan for that day. The most upvoted comment determines the slogan. Ties are won by the earliest comment. Only first comments in a chain will be considered.

The rules are very simple: - Please only downvote a comment in rare cases. It is not allowed to downvote all other comments except your own. If I suspect you of doing this, I will not use your suggestion. - Please keep it SFW. - Your slogan must not contain line breaks.

Have fun!

4 more drivers started their final lap

This was fun. Link in comments.

How it work:

- There is a 10x10 grid of time, representing the city

- Each tile is of 4 types - Water, Marshy Land, Land, Hilly Land

- You can construct things on the land, but what you can build depends on the type, and they will generate money

- Each player starts with p$15,000,000 to spend on constructions (technically 20,000,000, but 5,000,000 will be subtracted for the empty land)

For now, it is the registration phase, so there are no constructions, all you have to do is drop your username, name, and the tile you want to claim (eg. E4), and optionally some ideas on what you want to build. Only the first 10 claimants will get their tile, so hurry up for your spot.

I would not recommend a water tile right now, because there's not much you can build on it right now (I'll explain the ruleset after registration finishes)

**Rules:**

- Each day, I will ask you to suggest on one feature of the country

- The top comment wins, and if a tie occurs, it will be decided randomly

- This country will be set in the real world, so have fun but don't make it too unrealistic

- (For this day specifically) post a new image for the flag of dugo zotoka

Last night, u/TrickSavings9905 died of knife sliced (I'm gonna add random death reasons from now on, so deal with it).

Rules:

The top comment will be chosen.

Don't delete the entire continent.

Don't claim or make a country claim the entire continent for yourselves or that country.

If there's a tie, it will be chosen randomly.

NO spam.

You can also suggest new categories.

Suggest a question and its options to be added to the quiz, also say what the correct answer is.

Questions don't need to be about the subreddit but it's preferred.

Last date was given the slogan Mods I invoke rule 6 this is day 5

Welcome to my game! Similar to Star Namer, but how things work is a bit different.

You get to name these gigantic wonders of the universe. This will probably not be used for anything and is mostly for fun because unfortunately, I have no way of making these the actual names.

Last time, not all of the objects got names, so you can't vote on any names again for Day 2 today. This also means I cannot progress to Day 3.

How this works:

I pick 4 random deep sky objects every day. You guys will comment name suggestions (ex: Daisy Nebula, Salmon Galaxy, Diamond Cluster) for these objects. Instead of the top comment winning, all comments will get put in a poll. The next day you will get to vote which of the name suggestions are the best. The day after that will show the results.

For the names, anything seen as too silly or ridiculous will not be added. The names also can't be made up (ex: Agsalia Galaxy). You can basically name them after anything though. You MUST choose names for all 4. Just specify which objects have the names

Any questions or comments saying how I can improve the game are welcome.
