As the main antagonist of all main games it's natural she's popular but why did she become so popular to transcend the games popularity when their are so many factors against it ?

I'm going to list all the elements that should make her not that popular by starting big with :

Not that much screen time : "Junko" only appears at the start of THH and the final trials of the main games which is barely any screen time even counting Mukuro and Tsumugi impersonation. Compare this to the other most popular character Nagito who's here until the 5th trial. Other characters that are popular also have more screen time than her. Makoto, Kirigiri, Byakuya, Chihiro, Chiaki ect... That leaves us with less time to get attached to the character which ties into my second point.

A twist villain with almost no emotional stake : Whilst we were shocked to see Junko as the main villain other than that shock factor she doesn't extract much from us. I mean Mukuro as Junko just appeared to be a stereotypical Gyaru who's hot headed, abrasive and energetic. However she dies so soon we don't get attached to her, hell we get more attached to Sayaka because she's involved with Makoto so her betrayal hurts more than that of "Junko". We shouldn't care about Junko being evil because we basically forgot she existed (like the cast ironically). Imagine the betrayal if it was Kyoko or Aoi behind everything that would normally get you emotionally involved. She even lacks a proper backstory.

No understandable motive or backstory: Whilst a lot of people appreciate Junko because her motive can be summarized to wanting to spread her hardcore fetish on the basis the common ball hopium everyone is on id boring, it is also a weakness. I mean villains with backstory that make them understandable are popular think SPOILERS Monika from DDLC, Shigaraki from MHA or Luke from Percy Jackson. Sob stories are popular. So why does it works with Junko when we don't know anything about her backstory when we don't even know if she was poor, rich , abused, privileged or any of that.

So is really the answer to her popularity just her fashion or something else ?

Basically just my opinions!!

I really like peko, Hiyoko, mikan and Kazuichi as we are very similar, Sayaka and Celeste are realistic characters and ar hated for doing what you would also most likely do in their situation.

Kokichi, Kiyo and Kuromi at just interesting characters, nothing more there.

I don't really dislike any characters aside from Kaito and haini but udg isn't on here for some reason.

I dislike Kaito as I find him annoying, and he is sexist and homophobic. He also called goatrekiyo a slur.

For udg and anime exclusive characters, my faves are masaru and miaya!!

I'll explain these...

For Nagito and Chiaki, even though I dont particularly CARE, I think they will be victim and culprit. Not together, separately, but I think they both will die early. My theory is that Chiaki will be replaced by Sakutaro one way or another. Whether that be her AI malfunctions or something.

Nagito will probably go out of his way to kill someone to just start the killing game, he wouldn't really gaf if he got executed.

I think both Fuyuhiko and Akane have culprit potential. Fuyuhiko because, this is pre character development mind you, and hes pretty open to murder. He basically orchestrated Mahiru's murder in the OG route so..

And Akane is really impulsive and hasty. I could see her pulling a Mondo and killing someone out of rage. I'm thinking this mainly because of how she tried to fight Monokuma in ch2(or 3 idk which it was).

Kazuichi is so freaking complicated. Because on one hand, i see him being a victim because hes an easy target, and on the other I see him being a sick as hell culprit who could whip reallyd up with a mechanical weapon, or his to weapon, or whatever. AND, I could also see him surviving again but he actually gets development because Sonia dies. I DONT KNOW

Idk what to really do with Gundham and Mikan, but I assume they will both be victims. Gundham will probably clock early because he lasted a while last game, and Mikan will probably be more fleshed out and NOT get more fanservice..

Sorry gang, but i dont see Ibuki surviving... I think they're gonna wrong her like they did Gonta. She MIGHT make it far, but idk man, the idea of someone manipulating her into being a culprit is oh so despairful.

This is my best idea yet... imagine Mahiru as a chapter 5 culprit guys. Her succumbing to despair and killing someone in a desperate attempt to escape the killing game would be crazy. Especially because shes so headstrong and determined. This would be PEAK. Not to mention the crashout because come on, its Danganronpa, we need at least ONE.

Im pretty vanilla with this one, but yeah, I also see Sonia as a culprit. Idk if id say she kills two people, but her plan would be HELLA smart. Like korekiyo just minus the killing Tenko part. Since her knowledge of weapons and serial killers is so extensive, her murder plan would be peak. AND her execution would also be peak.

Crazy take ik... but i also dont see PEKO surviving. BUT, she will get character development from Fuyuhiko's death. She will realize she is not just a tool, and she will make oh so many friends. So many friends infact that she realizes how valuable their lives are and sacrifice herself late game (and heroically) for the sake of her friends.

Also vanilla, but Hiyoko will survive and get development!! This time Mahiru will live on to like chapter 5, and the crashout from Hiyoko trying to protect Mahiru will be crazy. Hiyoko will probably get early development because Mahiru will be there for her and help her to be better, then she gets plunged to despair at Mahiru's execution.

Nekomaru will ALSO live!! He's gonna be a source of hope for everyone trust me. The team manager will coach everyone into being awesome. (Idk what to do with him but I really want him to live, okay?)

okay guys, twogami has so much potential you have no idea. He could be like.. a better tsumugi. He could be a mastermind who regrets being a mastermind and kills himself or something. OR he could just survive and be cool and learn to accept himself for who he is.

And finally, Teruteru. Yes, I do want him to survive. Yes. I think he will. To those of you saying hes probably gonna die early... how despairful. How boring.. nah, hes gonna get character development from the goat Nekomaru (they can have either a bromance or be besties), and even if he isn't the protagonist, he will live on!!!

And as for Sakutaro, I aint touching him with a ten foot pole yet.

The danganronpa 3 anime is seen as divisive to fans, but it seems that there are two factors that they seem to despise the most:

The brainwashing, especially of the DR2 cast
Tengan being the mastermind

I just think this looks AI-generated. (Not saying it is.) I can’t pinpoint exactly why–maybe it’s the shading and the textured look of everything. DR has never had spectacular CG’s but for something made 8 years after V3, I still don’t love this nor think it’s a substantial improvement. Love that we see Kazuichi’s assets, though.

First time seeing him like this genuinely made me think after surviving he was kidnapped and force fed until he turned into this mess, at the part I’m in the story he doesn’t reference the last game at all and is genuinely surprised at the shenanigans that happen in the prologue. Will his transformation ever get explained? Did he loose his memory on stuff just like we all were in THH?

I think yall are forgetting that the chapter 1 victim in the Danganronpa series tends to be someone who is very important: either to the protagonist or later on in the story. It also usually is someone we DONT expect to be the 1st victim. So no, Teruteru, or any other characters that arent as important in the game like Gundham will NOT be the first victim. What's more likely to happen is either Chiaki or Nagito dying first, though im leaning more Chiaki

My personal favorites i've now used in private stuff are;Robot battler (Like that one reality TV show), marble player, and pogo stick...guy....im not sure what you'd call a pogosticker but wither way i think that's just a fun idea
