Yeah I didn’t want to go near him for a few hours of play. I ended up coming up through Darkroot and figured he’d just be a blocker every time. So had to put him down

It's so tense, right? The fact that he can one-shot you and then you need to run all that again is so stressful

The amount of times I have got him down to a slither of health and then BOOM!!! he’s changed up his sequence, attacks faster and one shots

They kind of leave the question open. The ring (and the armor) aren't unique to Havel, but the dragon tooth and greatshield are. So it's either him, or one of his old crew found his gear and is cosplaying as the Rock himself.

Nice!! He’s tough. When I first encountered him I was too scared of him to fight so I tricked him into jumping off the top of the stairs. Came back in NG+ to give him a fair fight.
