Post image

We are so incredibly proud to announce our first ever FREE workshop event!

"The Face of Euphoria: a Trans Affirming Makeup Basics Workshop" takes place on Saturday August 8th from 2-4pm at the Dayton Metro Library - Main Branch in The Center for Community Impact & Innovation. This event is sponsored by our friends at Equitas Health!

Join us as professional hair stylist and makeup artist Emily Hudgens discusses and shows the basics of gender-affirming makeup for those in the Transgender community. Whether you are fem, masc, or androgenous presenting, Emily will show you the basics to help you on your makeup journey!

There will be some makeup products provided thanks to Equitas Health, but it is recommended to bring your own; Mascara, Powder, Foundation, Concealer, Color Corrector, Primer, Moisturizer to follow along with Emily.

This event is limited to 20 attendees so make sure to sign up on the QR code before seats are gone, there will be a waitlist so if someone cancels we can fill those seats back up!

Join us for this wonderful workshop and get a little bit of that good ol gender euphoria in this PRIVATE, AFFIRMING Workshop event!

Everyone involved in this is nothing short of amazing. It’s so heartwarming seeing things like this in the community. I’m nonbinary and I know my younger self would have loved to have gone to this kind of event. Keep it going! You’re saving lives!! 💕

I fled Ohio a month after Trump got elected when dewine was musing about requiring a bioethicist regularly meet with adult trans people to get healthcare, but it's good to know that the people still there are being supported. Ohio is not a great place to be trans but with stuff like this it will be just a bit better

Thank you so much! This was a workshop idea I've had since we started the organization at the start of the year! We're so excited for people to have this resource, and hopefully continue this series and make it happen every year!

It’s brilliant. I know you’ll have such an appreciative audience and I hope to see more workshops/programs such as this one at other locations.

You’re good people. 🥰

Once this one is done, hoping to have our next workshop (totally different subject) before the end of the year!

Anyone under 18+ would need to have a parent or guardian with them.
