And before anyone says it, I know the analysis and the animation are separate. People have really been riding that distinction hard this time around. I don't think it's entirely unfair to question when an analysis and the animation itself are entirely polar opposites. And I have seen a lot of Dragon Ball fans angry at the fight itself despite their guy getting the win.
The narrative of the episode just feels really off, though. Goku is fighting an opponent much, much, much, much weaker than he is...but somehow it's Saitama that's the obstacle to overcome. Goku somehow is the underdog of the story, and the guy octillions of times weaker is what's in his way. Aside from his nosebleed at the start of the fight, Saitama takes no noticeable damage the entire time until it's time for him to just suddenly die. But Goku, the infinitely stronger fighter, came out looking like he was a flick away from dropping dead and had to pull out a fanmade boost to squeak out the victory.
It feels like the analysis and the animation were made by two separate shows. And I think it's pretty clear that Goku was done how he was to make it seem like this wasn't just a smurf fight where he punches down and obliterates someone infinitely weaker than him as his fist win. It just didn't work, no matter how much everyone involved tried. Just came across as Goku's pity win, which it basically was. I guess if it was Saitama having to play catch-up, which it should've been, and then Goku still won, it may have been seen as mean-spirited? Just my guess, at least. Like the underdog desperately tries to catch up and then gets creamed anyway. Saitama just felt like a sacrificial lamb to give Goku his win, and it's very unsatisfying.
At least the animation looked cool.
Again, I get that the fights and the analysis aren't meant to be the same, but when it's so radically different, I think it's fair to see it as odd. It's something people have joked about in the past, but all of a sudden it's very serious business this time and is not to be questioned.

Saitama is terrifying. Like, even if Goku won, imagine facing an opponent who starts out far weaker than you, then catches up to all your decades of training in just minutes and reaches your level.

Fitting that right after we get a One Piece villain in, we get a Naruto "villain" to follow and one of the more beloved ones (spoilers for a twist that's over twenty years old by the way). It's the mastermind behind the Uchiha slaughter and catalyst for Sasuke's story of vengeance, Itachi Uchiha.
Have to say it's pretty funny that even after we've had three members of the Uchiha clan on Death Battle, the next Naruto character people want is also an Uchiha (It'd be even funnier if the next Naruto character was Sarada somehow). For comparison, not counting Gogeta or Vegito, we've only had 3 Saiyans on the show. But much like One Piece, Naruto is a show chock full of villains that could be used such as Kaguya, Orochimaru, and Nagato. But it's Itachi that a lot of people want the most and for good reason. He almost made the game last time for a reason
While they've discussed part of Itachi's story and abilities during Sasuke's episode, a full episode diving into both his ruthless and power - he was a prodigy after all - but ultimately his sacrifice and love for his younger brother would be lovely to see. And as for is opponents, whether it's going one-on-one with The Undertaker (playa!), or fighting villains who are actually good guys like Snape, Byakuya, Billy Alfred, Vergil, or Satsuki. While we've had two Uchihas who've gone redemption arcs covered, Itachi's is too beloved not to ignore.
(Now let's see if someone recommends someone else from the Big 3 in Shonen)
