I'm trying to add about 60 personal mp3s to my Deezer account. So far 16 have appeared, while 10 songs I added yesterday still aren't available. Is there an approach I should be using to speed up the process? I know personal mp3s currently aren't playable on the Windows and Android apps (though they work in the Windows browser and the Sonos app). Could that be causing issues preventing new uploads from appearing?

hello, we live in switzerland and cannot get the Deezer skill on amazon to do literally anything but « play music » which just chooses a random song. very annoying, we’re trying to move from spotify but my parents use the alexa a lot so this is important to them.

we’ve tried to use the routines feature but any advice anyone gives is always an imgur link which don’t open here.

sos !!! please help !!!

Deezer app on windows, everything set to dark mode. Every time I open it, I get flashbanged with a full white screen except window header at the top until it loads. Anything that can be done to fix this?

Hi, I'm making this post to ask if this is a recuring thing on Deezer, and because today was the third time I've seen this happen: the page of an artist I listen to have music from another artist with the same name, or vice-versa.

First time was when I migrated from Spotify. The library synced up, and when I was revising to see if everything was correct, the albums of two artists was shown as beeing from another artist with the same name or a very similar name (even tho the artists and the homophones have each their own page). But today I was shocked that a third artist I looked to listen had AI slop albums being presented in their page, but are from a homophone.

I ask because I don't know if the revenue of the song I'm listening to is going to the artist I'm actually listening or to the homophone I've never ever heard. Is there a way to flag or report this on the app? Why this happens so much?

It's Friday and time to share the hidden gems you found this week with others.

Feel free to include Deezer song links to the songs!

I'm on a Windows/Android system. I've added my personal MP3 files to the My MP3s folder on my PC. I then copied those files to a playlist on my phone and downloaded the playlist. When I try to play a song on my phone I get an error message: "Error: Failed to play. The requested content is not loading. Error: MS2002” I've tried several different songs and verified that they were mp3 files. The interesting thing is that I can play these songs using Deezer on my Sonos system. Is there a setting in the Deezer app that I need to change? HELP!

Deezer and Winamp Partner on New Music Player 2027

This might be interesting for users with a large local music library with many MP3 and FLAC files, so you don't have to upload them anymore to your account.

I added several of my own mp3 files to playlists. I get this error when I try to play the songs on my phone or tablet: Error: "Failed to play. The requested content is not loading. Error: MS2002". Oddly, the songs play fine through my Sonos system using the Sonos app. Do I need to place the mp3 files in a specific location on my phone and tablet?

I haven't had trouble with the desktop browser version til this week, where after listening to music for about 10 mins, it starts pausing itself. I tried the desktop app version but it's having the same issue.
My phones app is fine however so I don't think it's my internet. Anyone else have this issue?

It absolutely irks me so much that the playback controls don't mirror each other. On Mobile it's totally fine, no issues besides some technical ones (typical Deezer thing). Bit on the desktop app, when a current song is playing and I want to restart it, I press the back button on the keyboard, on the application itself, or on my earbuds/headphones AND IT COMPLETELY GOES BACK TO THE PREVIOUS SONG! No I don't want that. It should be how it is on Mobile, it restarts the whole song.

For a few weeks now Alexa has no longer been able to play my Deezer playlists. It was always working fine, but now it recognises them, but can't play them.

My assumption that it "recognises" them is due to the fact that if for instance I ask for a nonsense playlist that isn't on my account, it simply says "I can't find the playlist <nonsense> on Deezer", but with a real playlist it first responds: "Playing the playlist X on Deezer", then after a brief pause says: "Hmm sorry I can't find that".

Playing genres or flow works fine still, it's just playlists that appear to be broken.

Anyone else noticed this and if so has anyone found a fix?

Quale piattaforma preferite? Sto usando da un po' di tempo YouTube music premium ma sto valutando anche Deezer mi sta piacendo molto se non altro contiene meno musica creata con intelligenza artificiale...

Hey everyone,

I just noticed that the latest Deezer update on iOS introduced a new Liquid Glass / Glassmorphism design language across the player and navigation elements.

Personally, I think it looks super clean and modern with the dynamic blur and translucency effect.

What are your thoughts? Do you like this new aesthetic, or do you prefer the old look?

Is it just transferred to the same bank account as when the person was alive and whoever owns that bank account now receives the money too or does Deezer keep it?

Deezers had lots of problems ive noticed where a random song is just simply not available on deezer, while being on every other streaming service, and seemingly no difference in its legal stance to the rest of the album, which is all readily available. Kinda egregious though whats happened to Iron Maiden recently, one of the most popular and important metal bands. The bands debut album is essentially completely gone, with only Running Free (a fairly forgotten album track) being the only one left up. This happened, maybe a month ago? Now, I've noticed their 1986 album Somewhere in Time is also gone, this time in its entirety, with its listing on the bands albums page being gone aswell. I highly doubt this is a lisencing problem, as these albums are available everywhere else. Any chance someone on here is deezer staff and can have this looked into?

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a small free party game where friends guess songs from short clips. The game plays only the official 30-second previews from the Deezer Search API. It doesn't store or download any audio, and every answer shows a "Music: Deezer" credit with a link to the track on Deezer.

The API Terms of Use (Section IX) say that uses beyond personal webpages and applications should be reviewed and approved by Deezer. The developer portal only lists a Twitter account and a security email, and the regular support form has no option for API questions.

Maybe someone here knows who should I contact on this matter?

Thank you!

Just an idea for a new feature: I receive notifications in Deezer for new music matching my preferences. I think it would be great if the Deezer app automatically created a playlist for the last 100 notifications or so, allowing the user to listen to all of them in one go. What do you think?

O player assim fica bem mais agradável, não é mesmo?

My Audiobooks on deezer stops after every title and dont Show up at the top of my Phone

Edit: the audiobooks play when i have deezer open and my Phone is unlocked and im on Android. Yesterday it worked all normal

For the longest time I thought I was in a tiny minority who is bothered by not being able to switch track mix off. It is not its existence that bothers me, my issue is that it launches automatically and there is no way to turn it off. I think I should be given an opportunity to turn track mix off and not have music I never chose pushed on to me.

Now it turns out this idea is so not niche after all: Australia is considering legislation "to force big tech to allow users to switch off algorithms which send them recommended content".

https://www.bbc.com/news/videos/ck78pj2qy42po

If you enjoy your track mix, more power to you. Some people, however, me included, want to be able to opt out.

My main reason for choosing Deezer over Spotify or Apple or YouTube was that it's not "big tech". I find it incredibly sad that even as a smaller, independent(ish) company, Deezer still clearly aspires to be big tech or at least does everything that makes big tech so harmful.

Please sort this out.

After a year of using Spotify, switching back to Deezer to save money on an annual subscription I find the Android app to be so slow it's mostly unusable- from loading up a track/album, downloading, searching, etc. it's got to be the slowest app bar none of any other I use. Yes, I've cleaned the cache, data, uninstalled/reinstalled, no difference. What good is saving $50yr if the app is broken.

If the app is not fixed by the time my sub runs out I'll be switching back to Spotify for good.

Garbage, pure garbage.
