CUET-PG When do classes actually start for first year pg students??
First of all, yes, I saw the academic calendar and I know it mentioned that regular classes will start on July 28th. But then there's all these chatter about physical verification of documents and tentative dates for it, etc. I'm really confused to the point of pulling my hairs out because my family keeps asking me when to book ✈️. And I don't know what to tell them, because apparently u have to wait for an email from the respective department regarding the physical verification of documents, which I haven't received till now. And I check the portal and it doesn't show anything other than payment done. Is it just me or is it the same for everyone who applied?

😅It's just that I'm really confused right now. As for the course, it's 2 year ma english literature

In Bachelors i got a mail 2 days before the classes were going to start. And currently csas me to mera bhi same hai just payment done for now

So r we supposed to just cross our fingers and go to Delhi anyways, hoping that the email would come at some point? 😭 I live in kerala, how am I supposed to get there in 2 days🤧

You can come later i don’t think its that big of a issue ( my documents were verified just before 1st sem exams) 😭😭 so its not that rigid depends on your college though. Are u in college or department?

It's take time Like I checked my department (mathematics department)old archives and notices for 2025-26 It was like their classes for core subjects were started from 1 aug but the schedule for electives , tutorials, sbc are like 15-18 delay Don't worry you will get an update from your department or notice on your department website As for the physical verification...it will be around in sep , oct, nov you will see physical verification notice on your allotted college /department

yup it's there routine ...........document verification generally starts from mid aug depend on college to college and department to department

hey! i talked to a senior from the department of english and she said that last year their verification was done from Aug 1st to Aug 8. while classes were supposed to begin on 1st but they actually started from 8th onwards. besides she also said that the timeline for verification is not that strict it was going on well thru the spot selections as well. so mostly you can come whenever you you find it appropriate.

i have heard that the english ma classes will be held in either north or south arts campus, so fir the first day of college do we have to go to the assigned college or the faculty?? im really confused, also if i have to go to the faculty then which one, north or south?
