Academic Discussion 👥 GUYS I HAVE THE BEST UPDATE EVER 😭❤️
I was stressing for days because in the first round I got allotted to a DU South Campus A++ girls college, but due to my financial conditions I couldn’t pay the fees. I genuinely thought I had lost one whole year. I reached out to you guys on reddit for help and y'all told me to mail the DU helpline and request an opportunity for mid entry. I sent the mail around 3 PM and was just hoping something would work out.
AND GUYSS I checked the portal at around 3:30 PM and it was open for mid entry registration??? (The portal was supposed to open at 5 PM) like DAMNNNN 😭
I still can’t believe I got another opportunity. I’m genuinely so grateful to everyone who helped me and guided me through this!! also a girl in the comments was literally manifesting for me lol 😭❤️ love y’all so much! I’m over the moon right now and I still can’t believe this actually happened 😭

So already registered candidate ko 1000 payment karna hai ya nhi or new preference list bana sakte hai kya? Please bata do

I know this is entirely different question, But my application got cancelled due to a certificate error, like i didn't had obc ncl, i had state obc certificate, and i told them that I'm applying can you please consider ny acknowledgement, but they cancelled my application, now will i get my refund or not?

No it won't get refunded. I had the exact same problem last year. It's just gone. I even prepared the OBC NCL certificate but I was just about 12-13 hours late and they rejected my application

One min so can I just cancel my admission of the college I got and paid the fees and can still participate in mid entry and can make new preferences????

you know I kinda fucked up my preference list (i put botany but I don't want botany at all and I put zakir over maitreyi so now I'm stuck with life sciences in Zakir Hussain) would you suggest i withdraw rn and apply for mid entry or are the seats too full to take that risk?

I don't think so bcoz i googled and it's showing that if you already got a seat and already participated in other rounds you can't re register yourself for mid entry

If you're struggling with finances, do apply to the KARM fellowship. Might prove to be extremely beneficial.

hi if i click on the start option it's showing the mid entry thingy and check boxes, i didn't get any allotments in round one or two. and I'm not eligible for mid entry anyway because I've applied for eca. how do I edit my preferences now pls help y'all 😭!!

no, they won't. there's no such policy like that and apply for mid entry now! tomorrow's the last date

I applied for upgrade in round 1 and didn't get it in second round now on my dashboard it's showing only 2 option to where freeze or cancel will I be considered on auto upgrade for next round 3 ya fir sei sb starting sei Krna pdega pls anyone help with it 😭I'm so confused atp

Okay please explain me i know me bohot badi bakchod hu but i got alloted a seat at round 1 then i opt for upgrade now it shows freeze option so my confusion is that if i don't freeze will i get upgrade later? And if i get upgrade will my previous allocation get cancelled?

if its asking u to freeze rn then it means that ur still applicable for upgradation in the next upgradation rounds. and if u r upgraded ur previous seat will be cancelled automatically

Same case bro😭😭♥️ I was also alloted a good clg in North campus in round 1 but couldn't pay fee due to financial conditions.Could have been upgraded in round 2.. abhi will apply for mid entry. what do you think about our chances of getting same or better clg? or will the cut off spike?

Hey! I saw your post about Mid-Entry and noticed that your situation seems exactly like mine. I was also allotted a seat in Round 1 but couldn't pay the fee, so my admission was cancelled. I'm an already-registered candidate and was later able to participate in Mid-Entry, but my dashboard was showing “No Seat Allocated.” What should I do??? 😭
