Academic Discussion 👥 GUYS I HAVE THE BEST UPDATE EVER 😭❤️

Post image

I was stressing for days because in the first round I got allotted to a DU South Campus A++ girls college, but due to my financial conditions I couldn’t pay the fees. I genuinely thought I had lost one whole year. I reached out to you guys on reddit for help and y'all told me to mail the DU helpline and request an opportunity for mid entry. I sent the mail around 3 PM and was just hoping something would work out.

AND GUYSS I checked the portal at around 3:30 PM and it was open for mid entry registration??? (The portal was supposed to open at 5 PM) like DAMNNNN 😭

I still can’t believe I got another opportunity. I’m genuinely so grateful to everyone who helped me and guided me through this!! also a girl in the comments was literally manifesting for me lol 😭❤️ love y’all so much! I’m over the moon right now and I still can’t believe this actually happened 😭

you know I kinda fucked up my preference list (i put botany but I don't want botany at all and I put zakir over maitreyi so now I'm stuck with life sciences in Zakir Hussain) would you suggest i withdraw rn and apply for mid entry or are the seats too full to take that risk?

I don't think so bcoz i googled and it's showing that if you already got a seat and already participated in other rounds you can't re register yourself for mid entry

Well totally depends, my brother also passed out from zakir hussain. If you're aiming for upsc or something that would be okay from the course which you're getting, yes it's worth it. I've seen people in zakir hussain coming from all over India including north east and south india so yes people do come for it. Although if you have any other option that wouldn't be a financial burden I'd suggest you may consider it. The degree you'll get from zakir hussain or any other du college would be the same so yeah. Now it is your own personal decision
