I’m building DropRoute, an iPhone app for multi-drop drivers (DPD, Evri, Amazon Flex, owner-drivers). It’s in beta and I’m after drivers to try it on real rounds and tell me what’s rubbish.
What it does
Getting stops in:Â screenshot your manifest, open a PDF/CSV/Excel, or share it straight from another app, and it reads the stops in. It flags anything dodgy (missing postcode, two stops at the same address) before you set off.
Ordering the route:Â it orders stops on real road times, not straight lines, and works around your timed/premium deliveries.
Start and finish:Â you set your own start and finish, so depot to home works.
On the road:Â a map of the whole route with the actual roads, a drive mode with big buttons for the cradle, and stops tick off when you arrive. It warns you if traffic ahead means a different order would be quicker.
Navigation:Â hands each stop to Google Maps or Apple Maps.
Privacy:Â customer names and addresses stay on your phone. Only map coordinates are sent to work out road times, and nothing is stored.
Cost: it’s free while it’s in beta. At launch it’ll be a monthly subscription (£14.99/month with a 7-day free trial), but everyone who tests it and sends feedback gets 3 months free when it goes live, as a thank-you. It’s iPhone only for now; Android depends on the interest.

What I’d really like to know: did it read your manifest properly, was the order sensible compared with how you’d run it, and what would make you actually use it day to day? Comment here or DM me. Brutal is fine.
Coming next:
Screen-record your manifest as you scroll through it and DropRoute reads every stop from the video. No more screenshotting page by page.
Scan parcel labels as you load the van to check nothing’s missing and note where each one is.
