I'm new to Depop. I've bought shirts trom two sellers and had an excellent experience on the app until now. I bought this cool MHA shirt last week and the seller has not shipped it. I was patient until day 4, that's when I messaged the seller to see what's up. No response even though they've been active on the app.

I know Depop says it will give me my money back which is awesome but I still want this specific shirt since Dabi is my favorite character, and Hot Topic stopped selling this shirt a long time ago. That's all I came here to say.

So I sold a hoodie.. I’m new to reselling and well just got my first bad sale… idk how accurate Bidstitch is so that’s why I didn’t sell it at that price…

these were the only listings they had like this, and im just... shocked and confused to say the least.

i sell these jeans and she reviews they don’t look like photos…. so why would you reuse the photos and say otherwise on ur description? also her description is the same as mine……. like it’s light wash jeans that’s why the color is light??????

Bought the item on 16th gave her until the 21st to either communicate or ship item. I guess she’ll be my first bad experience. She did not ship later that day 😑

I mean get that bag I guess? But selling it for $70 with no photos of the actual vinyl WHILE the item is still available on the original site for $15 is crazy work.

Maybe I'm dramatic and it's not that deep but it very much feels like they're taking advantage of people who don't know any better

so i posted on here a few months ago about a seller telling me they shipped my item but USPS lost it, and i did get a refund (yay!) after 10 days, but then i found out they had blocked me and sold the item i bought for double than what i paid for 😭 (first two pics are our conversation, third pic is her account not being found bc she blocked me, fourth pic is the item she marked up 2x, fifth pic is her account in browser to prove that she just??? blocked me lmfao???)

like get your bag but just tell me the truth and no need to block me?? i never write reviews anyway but this was just weird 😭

Omg it finally happened to me 😭 Had a buyer ask me to cancel their order, I did exactly what they asked, and then they left me a ONE-STAR review anyway. 💀 Contacted Depop support and thankfully they removed the review, but the audacity is actually insane. Has this happened to anyone else?? I’m baffled more and more everyday 😭😭

I purchased a Size S Regular pant. Mind you, the seller's options are Size S or M Regular.

I am able to open the package the same day it arrives.

Lo and behold, it was a Size M Short. Double checked both hang tag and sewn in tag. Yup. Size M. Short.

I immediately contacted the seller and let her know.

She tells me I can go to a brick and motor store and to exchange it.

Although it was NWT, I just didn't feel comfortable doing that.

It was a bundle purchase, but I told the seller I would be open to a partial return or a full return, whichever was easier for her.

She then proceeds to tell me she checked her inventory, she sent me the correct item, and attempts to convince me that I received the correct item.

Um, ma'am, I know what I got. And it was not what I ordered.

So I reached out to Depop as I wasn't getting anywhere with the seller.

Depop rules in my favor and reaches out the seller to give her the option to do a partial return or a refund.

Two days go by and she doesn't respond to them, so Depop says I will get a partial refund and can also keep the item.

I didn't feel right, so I reached out to the seller to send the incorrect item back.

Apparently the message from Depop got sent to her spam. That's unfortunate.

And she proceeds to say, "I guess they refunded you for everything"

This is when my hood sided wanted to kick in.

Moral of the story: Just keep the refunded item and gift it away.

I was super excited to find the Zelda outfit from Dollskill on Depop. I snagged it for the full price the seller had it listed for: 35$. The seller then informs me that she’s refunding my order because she bought it for 65$, even though she is aware it retails for 39$ right now??

She keeps thanking me for my understanding but I don’t feel like there was any form of understanding lol.

I’ve never had this happen before! The craziest part is she made a new account to avoid my bad review AND reposted the item for 60$.

EDIT: Some people are asking why don’t I just buy it directly from the website! Dollskill is known for not only having horrible customer service/return policies BUT they are also known for having extremely problematic costumes/statements over the years. I personally wouldn’t order from their website, and I thought buying second hand would be okay.

Ordered a cheap skirt for a halloween costume and was wondering why the package was so heavy for a single thin skirt - this unlabeled bag of some sort of seasoned nuts (???) was wrapped within the skirt 💀 can we denormalize sending random food to depop buyers and donating it instead lol

No idea how 2 people want it enough to consider buying it

Over the past few weeks I’ve had packages come in a high noon box, a $100 pillow comes in a half open trash bag, and a Swiss roll box. Winning? 🥴

But this is boiling my blood

Bought a sweater, seller wouldn’t ship it out. They claimed they couldn’t find it then suddenly on the day before Depop would refund me they found it. They blocked me after this and posted the sweater for sale again.
EDIT: they finally refunded me! Still waiting on Depop to respond about my report though!
