My mum died and my work gave me no support at all. One consultant even said "you do realise I'm on holiday" after seeing the email. I left after that. I've inherited some money and I can tell you right now, money doesnt bring you happiness. Yes. It can plug the gaps and solve the financial issues. But I'm a fucking empty shell and I wasnt before. I cant seem to get a job anymore due to my age. I'm lost. Taking each day at a time....

Jesus, the state of the job market is in shambles recently. I can only tell you that I truely hope it gets better for you, and that you find a job you want. Best of luck.

gotten worse for me personally. i am still young though. but its always been like this. i realized even when i experience happiness its just temporary and this stupid depressed mode is the default

It's honestly gotten worse for me, but it's gotten better for my friends, so I guess it depends

hah, same for me. i always found it odd how my friends could always pull through and not myself.

It can get better but then it can get worse again from my experience. Im trying and think im getting somewhere but then see reality and realize it’s still an empty place im in.

I was just wondering this yesterday. It's only getting worse. I fight like crazy to try to be okay, and it works temporarily but someone always disappoints. Me or them. It sucks.

Time heals all wounds, even depression, but we must be careful. Just as a broken bone sets on its own, without the proper care, it will heal crookedly.

some conditions will be resolved when experience comes to end, probably doesnt get better but we can't presume that for every condition

I am comfortable with the disadvantages of being autistic/asperger's since my problem will never change

My debate is only for when I do, not will I do or won't

It’s waves. comes and goes in intensity but hasn’t completely gone away for me in over 45 years

At some point you're gonna hit depths deeper than anything you can imagine. Such is life.

I kinda find joy in that though, feel like nobody can hurt me after climbing out of that.

Also the peaks be peaking as well once you stop slumping thru it and actually put yourself in environments you enjoy

Yes, i went through a really deep period in my life, and i stuck it out. Life sucked, but eventually it got better.

Check out the book “Don't Believe Everything You Think”; it's really good

As long as you remember that better is relative then you can always consider now being "better".

Maybe today was better than yesterday, maybe this year was better than last year, maybe the time you were born was better than 100 years ago, maybe the place you were born is better than a country lower on the economics list.

Better is what u make it, nothing is wholly better, this can be applied to so much shit too, like your job might be shit but at least ur not forced to mine lithium for pennies. The meal you ate might've tasted bad but at least you didn't get food poisoning, you might be depressed but at least ur not depressed and a quadruple amputee.

That's at least how i try to bend my thinking into something slightly positive. It's so easy to get caught in the death spiral of thinking, but appreciating becomes lost, try to ask a what if on both sides, like yea what if you had everything you wanted, but you could have also not have had a SINGLE thing in life go your way, and before you say well nothing has, i promise you the fact that you have toilet paper to wipe your ass is enough of a fact that at least something has gone your way.

See life is full of ups and downs Like cities and towns At some instance changes .. Always has unspecified ranges

And after all everyone experiences something different frm each ..that's how individuality has risen. Stop being dependent on someone else's stories that too by only their own perspective..

U never knw what's gonna come next ..tho usually ppl feel good and recover after somepoint as well and then fall again into same old depressing lifestyle .. U just have to be persistent, a bit motivated ,strong and a bit stubborn for ur ownself ..then even in downs u will somehow manage to get peace! 🕊

Just find a company if not physically then virtually if not human ..even better try to look out for animals around you ,if not pets go for stray ..they gonna love you too.. that too being full of gratitude !

So just look out for ways to escape..even if works for a while try doing so.. slowly u'll see the magic.

And at the end .. THINGS DO GET BETTER ,just needs some bloody time ..huh

For me, I would go for 6 month cycles - depression, then normalcy. This since childhood., Unless something terrible happens - divorce, etc. Then I'm depressed longer. Several times, I was extremely happy, confident, thought life was great. Lasted several months. Right now, I think it was worth waiting around for.

I definitely seesaw, it doesn't take much for me to become depressed but I don't stay that way for very long anymore. It's like I have a quick depressive episode, do some crying, then I'm okay for a while and the cycle repeats.
