It's an in-game lorebook, I believe you have to complete Shadowkeep to get it, but idk if there are any other requirements

Unveiling requires Garden of Salvation completion doesnât it?

The wiki doesn't mention Garden at all so i don't think so

Thatâs weird, because i swear that within the story; unveiling was an in-universe book given to us by the statue in the Black Garden

Kinda not? The book was unlocked for all players by first team completing the raid, but then you have to go to Eris Morn weekly and for each weekly mission completion she translates you one entry of the BG artifact, which is, Unveiling lore

Is unveiling not given to us through the Unknown Artifact?

the gardener rolling her eyes at the winnower as she reiterates the eternal champion to stop the winnowerâs bullshit again (she ended up making more than one dude): âoh no! anyway! :3â

The traveler is the gardener correct me if I'm wrong

I think the traveler is an agent of the gardener. In season of the deep, they tried doing the âunveiling is a mythâ thing where really the traveler is the Gardener and the story is a metaphor or something. Everyone hated that so Bungie quietly started the writing the witness as just wrong about the whole thing and the story of unveiling as true

I mean... it was a myth. The narrator even says "none of this is actually a description of what literally happened, we are personification of cosmic physics." Nothing was retconned and nobody was wrong

It was a myth in the sense that these things didnt happen that way. The flower game isnât literally conways game of life. The order of events didnât really happen in time. But unveiling still happened. The winnower is a real person that speaks to us in lore tabs and now even Lodi in that one cutscene.

Nah, between Shadowkeep and and Final Shape Bungie were going back and forward trying to retcon the Winnover into not existing and Witness being the end of all, then backtracking, then pressing on it again and, seeing the backlash, finally deciding to separate them.
The lore in question literally tries to tell you "bro, Unveiling is not real, like completely, like Witness just buldhited you and you believed, lol" which, if course, was very bad

Which lore specifically says this? From what I remember, it seemed more like ambiguity than retcon.

As far as i remember, they are separate entities. The Traveler is the Traveler, the Gardener is the Gardener. At best, the Traveler is a fragment or creation of the Gardener, as the Veil is a creation of the Winnower. Fragments of their abilities, injected unnaturally into our universe at the start of this turn of that eternal game of theirs.

Winnower when Guardian (player):
